4th Gen Favourite Route? (Johto)

    Just wondering, which is/are your favourite route(s) in Johto?

    Please note I include up to the Pokemon League in this, but not the Route from Viridian City to the Pokemon League.


    Personally, I have 4 favourites for different reasons:


    Route 29 | This route has really nice music, a relaxing feel to it, and because it's your first route, the starter, or at least my Qui (Cyndaquil | Quilava), has the caption "Qui looks like it wants to lead!", which I find really cute.

    - Ice Path | I like the music, and I generally like Ice types, although my favourites aren't actually there.

    - Route 40/41 | I love the water and beaches in Johto. Personally I think if they released a Hoenn remake now, with those same graphics for the beach areas, they couldn't do better. Also, the Surfing speed and music are really brilliant.

    - Route 47 | Brilliant music. The whole package (music, scenery, etc.) reminds me of Hoenn for some reason, which is nice and nostalgic, as Emerald was my first game. Some of the pokemon captions are nice, i.e. "Togetic is soaring gracefully through the skies", and "Pichu is scared and snuggled up close!", particularly the Togetic one. Overall, probably my favourite route in the whole of pokemon, barring possibly Route 216.
     
    Any route with this music. :3

    Other than that, I kinda hate to admit it, but none of the routes in Johto particularly stuck out to me. *shrugs*
     
    my fav route in johto is route 47/48 with the new music i love that route s music
     
    I prefer the Ice Path and Ilex Forest. The ice path for the music and scenery, and the Ilex forest for its scenery. I am a visual person.
    It doesn't count as a route per-say, however, I am in love with "Ecruteak City" for it's music and scenery. Traditional Japanese style FTW
     
    National Park. Just it seems so nice, I also like the water routes.

    I almost cried. I was suddenly reminded of Gold and how when I was young and sometimes even now, and how that world WAS my world, that land of Pokemon who loved you unconditionally was part of my world. Route 32 had been my favorite route for a very long time. It has great Pokemon, a variety of mounatainous, forested, and aquatic landscapes, and it also has little secrets. That song took me back and opened a portal to that world of large pixels and 8-bit tunes. Of love and happiness and content. Before Wi-Fi, universal follow me, or contests. Even then I loved my Pokemon as if they were real.

    Sigh...

    That just took me way back.

    To answer your question, Route 32 for the aforementioned reasons.

    I like Route 47/48 the best. It just has the coolest waterfalls and cliffs. The music is very energizing, but calming at the same time. I also like Route 39 because of the MooMoo Farm and the mysterious broken windmill/tower.
     
    I love Ilex Forest.
    It's so dark you can't even see the sky.

    And for some reason, Union Cave.
     
    I really like the Route between Mahogany and the Ice Path.
    Idk why, because I never play with the music on.
    I guess I just have nostalgic memories of catching Lickitung and Weepinbell there one the original games.

    I also really like the small route between Ilex Forest and Goldenrod.
    The small area with the daycare man.

    The Route/s between the town with Morty (can't spell the name of it :x) and Olivine is pretty cool too.
     
    Hmmm...forgot about Ecruteak....man, I love that place so much I want to trade-in my SoulSilver for HeartGold....

    That, and it seems more, right...somehow.....if you battle the Kimono Girls, then meet up with them to climb the Bell Tower outside, summon Ho-oh, then battle it.

    I love all the routes in Johto, but that music is my favorite as well! Also the music that plays when the Clefairy are dancing atop Mt. Moon.

    llec forest owns i luved it too not so much union cave
     
    route 47/48, route 42 ,and route 42 are my favs :) mostly because of the awesome music
     
    My favourite ought to be Viridian Forest though, the colour just appeals much to me :)
