female rival

i think there should be a female rival.
you can play a boy and girl
so why not have a female rival

please tell me what you think

There is May in the Ruby/Saphire series, but she stinks at being a rival. She's way too happy about EVERYTHING! You only can get May as a rival is by playing as a boy.

Besides that, I do think that there does need to be a female rival that actually ACTS like one!

Well in R/S, the girl is your rival if you're the boy...

Yeah, May is your rival in R/S if you play as a boy, but it would still be nice to have the option of having a girl rival if you play as a girl. Like have a game made specially for girls! ^_^ Hey, you had to be a boy on the old R/B/G/Y games, so it would be nice. And it's better if the rival is snooty like Gary and the G/S/C one. (Kanon?) May was a bit too nice...

all you guy got a point. i mean all the girl starter traniers were all pretty bad. crystal(pkmn crystal) had no personity. ruby(the girl) was to preky. if you see the pkmn games have revove arond the male player and not very much on the female players.
i mean it is true. but i do respect the female who play the pkmn games(because they also have beat me at sometime). but just don't get mad at me for say. what i just said

Yeah, May is your rival in R/S if you play as a boy, but it would still be nice to have the option of having a girl rival if you play as a girl.

Yeah, why not add more variety to these games?
Female--female
Male----male
Female---male
Male---female

Wouldn't that be good? Or you could even choose from a selection of girl trainers or boy trainers (like how they look) For you and your rival.
Or even design their appearance, so they could look like yourself!! The possibilities are endless.

Yes, it is true. I would like a girl trainer/rival with a more meaner or serious personality.

in FR/LG, Daisy (Gary's sister) should be ur rival if u play as a girl. Gary would hang out at his house.

That sounds like a good idea. Though to be honest, I never really considered May my rival. She's too perky. i get more ofa feeling of her just being a fellow trainer, someone traveling with me in some form, like ash and crew. I get more of a rival feeling from Wally, because he seems so determined to beat me.
