This is a 5th Generation Generic Sand Team with a couple of twists / differences. I don't really want a rating, perse, but I want everyone to see exactly what I use!
Tyranitar (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 48 HP / 252 Atk / 200 SDef / 8 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Superpower
- Pursuit
- Crunch
Tyranitar is essentially the bane of this team. This is a generic leadtar, meaning it has Stealth Rock to abuse for set up. Crunch is for a strong, STAB Dark-Type attack that kills those Latios that think they can stay in and fake me out with a 2 turn KO with Surf when I don't switch the second time. Superpower is for standard damage on a switch in Scizor (from Latios / Gengar) or Skarmory that's hit by rocks (as long as it's specially defensive. If not, then Skarm won't die if at full health, even with rocks)
Landorus (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Sand Force
EVs: 220 Atk / 36 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naughty Nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Landorus is the sweep power of this team. It's the standard Scarf set, with EQ for STAB abuse and HP Ice for Gliscor and Dragonite. If Dragonite is hit with rocks, Stone Edge and HP Ice can tear through it, if it isn't Band ExtremeSpeed. If so, Landorus will probably die, follow by Scizor for some grope.
Starmie @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Surf
- Rapid Spin
- Thunderbolt
- Recover
This team can easily be trumped by hazards (Spikes, most often) so Starmie comes in with his spectacular speed and wipes them away. If Toxic Spikes are up when he's in, he just uses Natural Cure, switches out and laughs at all status problems. Thunderbolt is for neutral coverage as well as Gyarados, and Surf is for STAB.
Celebi @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Nasty Plot
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Giga Drain
- Earth Power
Celebi is a secondary sweeper on this team and the only real bulky Water counter out there (at least for this kind of team.) Things like Gastrodon and Swampert wall this team to death; Celebi wallbreaks with it's great Sp. Atk right off the bat. HP Fire murders Ferrothorn and Skarmory (with rocks), Giga Drain is STAB and hits almost anything. Earth Power is for those Heatran who attempt to switch out Scizor or Skarmory on HP Fire.
Scizor (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Technician
EVs: 208 HP / 252 Atk / 48 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Superpower
- Pursuit
CB Scizor. Obvious.
Rotom-W @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 112 HP / 252 SAtk / 144 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Thunderbolt
- Pain Split
Bulky Water. Obvious set, etc.
