What would you like to see in the Fifth Generation?

I would like to see at least 100 new Pokemon, a Dark-type Gym, another Rival Champion, and other things.

And of course who can forget about BloodRuby and SpiritSapphire Versions!

Are Blood Ruby and Spirit Sapphire official yet?

Anyway, I'd like to see different typed starters. Yeah I know it won't ever happen.

And a dark gym would be nice.

I like the 100 more Pokemon.

New evolutions. A farfetch'd evo would be nice.

I know there's traditionally 8 gyms but I want MOAR.

Boy, I wonder if there's already an official thread for this somewhere.........

If Ruby and Sapphire were to get re-made, then would Red and Green get re-remade as well? Same generation and all... I'd like to play Red and Green on the DS.

A lady professor or a girl rival. But only one, not both. Only girl rival we've ever had was May... and I played as May, so she wasn't my rival...
Also, a real rival, like in the first two generations. In the last two generations, your rival has been your pal. Blf. No. I want a rival that'll push me around and call me names, like Blue or Silver. Yeah.
And the ability to visit another region and play through its gyms. That was awesome. Why haven't they done that again?

More Pokémon, of course; that's half of what defines a new generation.

I kinda want them to start over with the power of the legendaries. I mean. You captured the 'mon that created the universe in Sinnoh. Where are they going to go from there?
Same with the names. Diamond, Pearl, Platinum... they can't go more expensive. Maybe they'll move the whole operation to a new continent or something.

Far as game mechanics go, the whole system seems to be pretty sound at the moment. I see no real reason other than precedent not to have third evolutions. It's not something I really want, but I don't think they wouldn't do it.

Separate field effects from moves. Allow each pokemon to have like two or three slots for field moves, some of the side games have. There's lots to do as far as side quest and I hate HM slaves. Also there's a good chance that the next game will alot more online content a la Ragnarok Online, not the whole game mind you.

Give my Gyarados a usable Flying Stab move, if above is right, then let him learn the field move Fly, if not give him Fly.

I would also like the ability to change Pokeballs. I would love it if I could buy new Pokeballs and put my Pokemon in them. Example, I breed a new Staryu, he comes in a standard red/white ball. I would equip a Diveball on him. The old Pokeball would be destroyed (to keep people from reusing Masterballs) and Staryu would find itself in a nice new Diveball. I think this is a reasonable request as we now can see the Pokeballs used in the DS game as well as PBR. I feel it would give a touch of customization to trainers, especially people like me who run mono or theme parties.

Allow the ability to have some/all/none of your pokemon follow you.

I want to be able to select which pokemon goes first using my touch screen, instead of being determined by who's first in party.

A better Water/Dark type then the two we have.

If this thing comes out on the next gen system, and there's room, allow me to travel to all the regions.

    More underwater routes.

    I'll think of more later.

I'd like to see more Fire pokemon, there's way to few (4th generation only introduced like 4 non-legendaries, wth? ._.). I'd also like to see a Dinosaur type : D making the fossil pokemon ROCK works somewhat sure but I personally would love a dino subtype, I can tell you one who would be running a mono team :D.

Also, more online content! T_T I'd love it if 5th ed was an MMORPG, but I dont think that'll ever happen. Might be for the best, but I'd definatley like to see the 5th ed 3d game as a MMORPG at least :)

Well hi thar, my name is Bounce, and I am a better Fly! Gyarados got me back in Platinum through Magicarp!

    This. So much!!!

I want more ghost type Pokémon! ♥

Sorry, I should have been clearer, by usable I meant not Bounce. I hate Bounce as I see it as a copout from GF. Its like just slightly less ATT and ACC.... just give me Fly so my Gyarados can scare the Starly's in the air. I just think it would have been nothing for GF to give him Fly and I would have really enjoied it in game. Acctually I'm alittle confused why you think Bounce is better then Fly, its attack power and accuracy are both lower then Fly's.

The same logic applied to Charizard. In RED & BLUE he did not learn Fly, which most at the time agreed was lame. In YELLOW he got it and it was awsome.

    Back to the topic though;

I would like to see Defog given a more useful ability. Its just far to common to be useless. If I could change it I would say, make it a PP of 5 and give it the ability to clear all weather conditions. There are alot of PKMN out there that run weather effects, this could be the counter.
