  • (OOC: Nideous didn't know that he went invisible sorry won't happen again.)

When Gene regained consciousness he saw the princess and some other girl that he didn't know. He then quickly got back onto his feet. Gene then looked around and saw how things were probably going to get a lot worse. The words of the princess worrying about him flew through his head, oh man what happened?! All he remembered was that mage powering up a magic spell.....! Oh that must have been what knocked him out!

"Princess and you other miss please don't worry about me! We must get you out of here at all cost princess," Gene said not really thinking about all the pain he was in. He was probably bleeding in a few places but that didn't matter, the princess did. "But thank you for your concern and you too miss," He added as he then looked to the other woman and then to his sword in the princess' hands.

"Um princess may I have my blade back?" He asked as he twitched in pain but then quickly shrugged it off.

"This forest has been dangerous as of late. You should not be here. I am Agon Brightwood, a ranger of the south. I will escort you to the edge of the forest," a man said to her and Naomi looked at him and the woman near him hearing her speak.

"You are very adept with your bow, Agon. The attacker was on the ground before I even had a chance to attack. My name is Cecelia Normand. It's a pleasure to meet you." she said before turning to her "Princess, it's good to see that you are well. Unfortunately, this poor man seems a bit worse for wear. Do you think he will be aright?"

"He should be just fine. He doesn't seem to have any internal injuries, he will be in pain though" she said standing still holding the mans sword as he woke up.

"Princess and you other miss please don't worry about me! We must get you out of here at all cost princess," he said looking to be in pain as he got up "But thank you for your concern and you too miss, Um princess may I have my blade back?"

Naomi nodded handing the blade over "and what is your name kind sir?" she said before looking at everyone there "We should get moving my father has probably noticed I've run away."

  • "My name is Gene MorningStar M'Lady at your service," Gene said as he took his sword from his highness placed it in it's resting placed and then bowed to the princess. "Some know me as Black Star as the darkness of my clothes will be the last thing my enemy sees," He said introducing himself.

"How many men do you think your father will have sent after you if he has found out?" Gene asked as he looked around to make sure no enemy was coming.

Sekaul waited in the nightly shadows of the castle's gates. He would've been invisible, if not for the full moon reflecting dim white light off his armor. Still, he was deep in shadow, and probably wouldn't be seen anyways. The only thing he had ever done before arriving there was to say his farewell to Caramon. He was disappointed at the least to see that he was the first one to arrive at the designated meeting area. The half elf scowled in the darkness.

We've already lost so much ground, there's no way we can hope to recover that ground unless we travel for at least a day without rest. But they'll probably be in the Grey Mountains by the time the other Knights show up. What are they doing anyways? Saying goodbye to each individual stone before they leave? Perhaps I should go on without them...

As Sekaul was lost in his mental rant he noticed out of the corner of his eye a large figure approaching. It wasn't long before the half elf identified the man as the Demon, Ralph Xangxi. Sekaul watched in silence and intrigue as the man neared the gate. He was too far away to read any facial expressions, and he didn't believe he was saying anything.

A short while later, another figure, even bigger than before, came into view. The brilliant white horse contrasted with the grey and black perfectly. And with the white-armored rider on its back, the two appeared to be some sort of crusaders of a holy land. How different from Sekaul, always trying to hide himself behind his cloak, and his horse always blending into shadows. However this horse and rider, who Sekaul didn't even have to see to know it was Eva, made themselves known. Whether intentional or not, the half elf could not tell.

Though he made no attempt to confront either of the two, he slipped out of the shadows. At least they would know he was present. Fir awhile, he studied the two, tried to analyze them. However, Sekaul didn't seem to find out anything new. He was to far away to try to read their facial expressions, and also too far to hear if either was speaking. Dissatisfied, Sekual resumed his silent vigil. He was soon to grow impatient once more, knowing that every second was distance lost. He had a clear mind to insist that the three present go off on their own and leave the others to fend for themselves. Yet he wouldn't, not yet anyhow. For the time being, the half elf would have to be content with waiting.

  • Ardor knew exactly how many men. All of them. Including the knights that were on or near his level of skill. Still, he needed to get Naomi to safety.

"You fools. If you know the danger you are in, then you should not be standing here talking! Come quickly and stay quiet! We don't want anyone to find you that doesn't need to!" Ardor said in a gruff voice. He motioned to them to hurry up. Then he turned and began walking towards the way they were all going. He didn't bother to set up any detection spells. He didn't need them. The more deadly and quiet enemies wouldn't set out until nightfall. But when they did they would catch up fast. So, as he brought them to the edge of the forest, he would go and slow them down. After all, he had no shame in saying he was the greatest and oldest of the Knights of Teresius. But, could he bring down the rest of them? And while he was the most decorated knight, he was not the strongest anymore. There were at least five others he wasn't sure he could handle. And he had been keeping his eyes on a few promising youngsters as well. Aw well, time was not on his side, and he had to get the group moving.

"Quickly! We don't have much time before danger comes!" Ardor called back to the group.
