Final Fantasy Challenge

This challenge was inspired by my knowledge of the Final Fantasy Series.

You can choose any character from this list keep in mind some characters do have restrictions:

Squall Leonhart (FFVIII)
Pokemon Restrictions: Must have a Pyroar (does not matter if male or female)
Type Restrictions: None

Auron (FFX)
Pokemon Restrictions: Must have an Absol (Mega Evolve is not required)
Type Restrictions: Dark, Fire, Ground, or Fighting

Tifa Lockheart (FFVII)
Pokemon Restrictions: Must have either Lucario (Mega Evolve is not required), Machamp, or Hariyama.
Type Restrictions: Water, Fighting, Steel, Rock

Vivi (FFIX)
Pokemon Restrictions: Must have a Politoad with Rain Dance (or Drizzle) or a Ninetales with Sunny Day (or Drought)
Type Restrictions: Water, Fire, Dark, or Grass

Yuna (FFX)
Pokemon Restrictions: Must have a Jynx, Houndoom, or Zebstrika
Type Restrictions: Fairy, Ice, Fire, or Electric

Lulu (FFX)
Pokemon Restrictions: Must have a Cacnea
Type Restrictions: Dark, Psychic, Ghost, or Grass

Tidus (FFX)
Pokemon Restrictions: Must have a Gyarados
Type Restrictions: Water, Flying, Electric, or Ghost

I have tested out this challenge with Pokemon X and Y and it works.

Rules:
1) Can be done on any game. If you've already beat the game just play the game like you would if you just started.
2) Don't troll me or other players.
3) You MAY provide a final team pic but you dont have to.
4) Don't hack in pokemon unless you need to (a.k.a. if you can't trade for it or transfer it)
5) Suggest characters if you wan't. I won't discriminate.
6) Have fun anyone can enter.
7) Follow the rules of PokeCommunity.

You're free to keep this limited to XY if you want, but I would recommend extending it to all games. There really isn't much reason for the restriction on a challenge of this sort. I can add the XY tag though if you're gonna keep it like that. The tags need usage.

How about Tidus from FFX, with the types Water and Flying, maybe Electric too? Lol cause he wears yellow XD

Yuna from FFX could have Fairy and Psychic types.

Lulu from FFX seems like a Dark, Psychic, and Grass type, maybe also Steel?

FFX is the one I've played the most, can you tell?

Lulu's should be Cacnea, cause of that little cactus guy she uses!

Yuna could have a choice of Talonflame, Jynx, and Zebstrika, representing some of the aeons she can summon.

Now this is a bit of a stretch, but... Since Pikachu is the mascot for Japan's soccer team, and Tidus is a famous blitzball player... Tidus should have to use Pikachu.
