Yeah I got Naku mixed up with you. Sorry about that, I need to pay more attention to who says what, I often misread. ><

I'm honestly disappointed in myself I should have seen that coming. I figured Genesis was the recruiter, I didn't even take him into account. I really REALLY need to play these games again. :<

Desi maybe you should have claimed yesterday, so I would scan someone else.

I'm still convinced Naku is mafia. Also, I'm still waiting for his reply as to why he didn't attack a confirmed mafia yesterday.

Seems Catman was Tidus. I was thinking it would be either Zidane or Tidus, but I wasn't really expecting Tidus to be referred to as a kid. Zidane is a thief, and I haven't heard of any FF villains being thiefs, so it might be safe to assume that Desi is on our side.

I'm at work, so I won't have too much time for ~8 hours from now. However, we've got some numbers to work with, so I'll be back after work and calculations to post my thoughts.

I don't see how saying only once (during an argument, that is) that I will scan Naku makes me adamant about it.

I didn't see a reason to scan someone I already scanned. I also gave you solid proof that Naku is mafia, and I chose not to believe that phase posts are from a player POV, when the GM is clearly the narrator.

However, I noticed that you are pretty adamant on supporting Naku, Mana.
 
How am I supporting Naku? :( I'm asking why you didn't confirm because he claimed Lumina as a false-positive role. I'm happy to kill him just to make sure.


Wait what Abby. You're killing the person who just correctly FOS'd at Nimsy and is a Theif (one of the standard Hero roles of final fantasy)???
 
I think Abby was one who got recruited by Nimsy.
 
Desi, I suppose the ring you stole from aeternum is a strength ring, which he got after defeating the dragon. Would you mind telling us what it does?

what? no i don't... the only thing the gms ever told me is that i was poisoned... unless thats what you mean, then fuck you ;)
 
I don't know it simply state Strength ring. But I have an idea I think it increase my attack stat.

Actually... I might have some insight as to how it functions. I was attacked by an attacker dealing 30 damage Night 2, and I was dealt a similar blow this night. I was told by a GM the Strength Ring gives the wearer a night action allowing them to deal double their regular attack stat to one person. Aeternum had 15 attack, but with the ring he could do 30. Since he was mafia, that I'm guessing essentially gave him the ability to attack twice (assuming the mafia can attack at night)... and it looked like he was going to do me in with that second attack. Geez man. Such brutality! o_O

As for who Wedge is... well I'm not gonna mention who exactly, but it's not Abby.

I am wondering why a GM would give you this information. The ring had only 25% drop rate, so one would expect its use to be known only to the holder.
It is also curious that Desi doesn't know what the ring does, since he is the one holding it atm.

Given that not too much damage is done every night, apart from the super duper 100 damage burst once every 3rd night, I assume not every mafia member can freely use their attack at night. So, the ring is like a luxury, which makes you having access to info on how the ring works even more strange. Chance is you got one yourself when you fought the dragon.

So, you do know who Wedge is, but you won't just tell town. Or is this supposed to be a funny way of telling us Abby is Wedge? You also posted at night and got away with it. Getting some kind of treasure as well. Maybe that's when you got the strength ring.
Do your roles function like the Templar in EM? Meaning you two have a private chat?
I think you're being enigmatic without an actual reason, so I'll ask you this. Are you aligned with the town or are you third party?

True, but this matter could have already been resolved had you scanned me again. That's your folly, I suppose.

And congratulations! You've misunderstood again. What I said is that the narrative isn't going to reveal more information than a player received from their night action. You received information that I was mafia, so the narrative isn't going to say "he thought they were bad, but lol they really aren't." That would be moronic, and it's just as foolish to believe that it would work that way. I know how the narratives work here. I was the first to implement them in recent games, bar Gunner's VIP II, which wasn't able to be publicly viewed at the time, and thus helped start the narrative trend.

And yes, I forgot to attack last day phase. I thought I had, but it's also not the first time I've forgotten in this game, considering how busy I've been this last week. And you neglected to point that fact out until after I was already asleep and no longer had the chance to attack before the phase ended.

And Lycan, that healing was part of nani's reward for posting during the night.

I got a potion, which I promptly healed myself with. The Strength Ring I already had before I decided to post during the Night phase.

As for being cryptic, I was being that way because I didn't want to alert the Mafia who Wedge was directly. I've learned something about him that I'm not sure I'm allowed to mention yet; both GMs are offline right now and I'm not sure it would be against the rules to post so I wish to ask them first. I don't know if Mimsy was the mafia recruiter or not, as I don't fully understood how her role works, and I wish to protect my friend as much as I can.

As for my role function, we do have a private chat. Our sole ability is the ability to talk to each other and with the GMs directly as we're all in the same chat, which is where I learned what the ring does. It's not the best ability in the world but it's most certainly helpful! I'm town aligned; I never was affiliated with the third party or mafia.

By the way Naku you mentioned earlier your role was useless because Lightning was no longer alive. If it's alright to ask just does that mean? What role did she have?
 
I can help with that. My pm said Nimsy was unaligned, so she was the 3rd party recruiter.
