im super sorry and i know this just sounds completely unreliable of me but.... i honestly cannot remember where i read about it. i REALLY wish i could just to have some proof because the concept work on it looked amazing. it took place after denzel and marlene would grow up (it didnt say if marlene was in the party or not :/)
so by now cloud and the others would be in their 30s to 40s i would imagine since he had to be at least in his twenties or so in AC. i dont know i could be completely wrong about that detail.
but im being completely honest that IT LOOKED ASTOUNDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you piece together those things i mentioned though about the scenes and such, it really does make alot more sense. i didnt quite understand either until i replayed DoC the other day and reunlocked the secret ending with genesis (and his unusually creepy vampirish voice lolz)
i do really hope that SOMEONE CAN FIND THIS since i really cant remember where i found it and have been unable to relocate it. if i find it i will be SURE to post a link and/or an/the article. ^_^

also just to help keep my name slightly clearer lolz, i would not try to make this up for no reason because i have been waiting forever as well for a FFVII sequel, since i thought it had one of the best character sets and storylines. *sighs* that was alot to write lolz.
 
Aww... I mean I love FFVII games, but sheesh. The fanboys are gonna go a bit too crazy again, or the game or whatever it is will just be shunned like DoC. It's a shame, because I actually liked DoC.

Can we PLEASE have an FFV remake? DX Or, if not even that, make a sequel/prequel to another FF. I love the Compilation, but I want more of other FF's. IMO if it's a Compilation game they should be working on what happens AFTER DoC. We have OtWtaS for Denzel.

Still, I'm all for it! ^_^ I love new FF games! Oh, I just beat Cecil's part on Dissidia. Pwnage, though most of the cutscenes are just conversations. XD
 
But like Final Fantasy VII is one of the most rarest games,loads of people on ebay wanna get the game,so why not a like remake of the original?
 
Thank god I pestered my brother into buying me a copy for $14 a few years ago.
 
My older sisters got the original copy,full discs as well!(I've been snooping in her room,is that so bad?)

EDIT:Thank God! Well it does go FFV,FFVI,FFVII.....so if they do im like gonna worship you or summert!(somthing cid or yuffie would say)

I hope no one flames me for this, since this is just my opinion: After the remake of VII, I don't want to see any more spin offs from that series. I loved Crisis Core, but we know what happens before AND after VII, so I don't see the need for any more spin offs.

And of course, they're probably waiting until the right moment to remake it. x] But if VII is remade, I demand to see VIII and IX remade, too.
 
I agree with you Ricochet. I honestly don't like how Square keeps milking off of FFVII. Crisis Core was good, but this compilation stuff needs to stop.

Anyways. I managed to use the Lunar Whale and get to the Moon in FF4.

But what levels do you recommend I go there? The Mages can use level 3 Spells so My team is dead (Lv.50-60) After just 3 turns. D: D: D:

And you can't land near that Crystal Palace thing....

As far as I'm aware, there won't be another FFVII sequel, prequel, or anything of the like for a little while. I've looked into it and haven't found anything, not even on the FFWiki, which is usually pretty well informed. The only possibility is a remake after V & VI. In an interview with IGN, Square Enix said that the Compilation of FFVII will be over, at least until someone gets a new idea. One of the spokesmen also said that he would prefer to do a sequel to Final Fantasy IX.
What you saw was probably some sort of April Fools' Joke. While I'm sure there will be another VII sequel featuring Genesis, it will probably star one of the main FFVII cast.

Cloud was 21 in FFVII, 23 in AC, 24 in DoC, and 16 in CC.

Thanks. Funny considering I didn't play Final Fantasy until I saw Yuna on the cover of Game Informer and thought she was pretty, so I rented X and PS2, as well as Kingdom Hearts, and loved it. It wasn't long afterwards when I bought my own PS2, FFX, and FFX-2, all in one day.

I found a very well kept, used copy of the black label one at my GameStop after I bought X-2. Later on I found a black label VIII. IX was the only one I had a hard time finding, new or used. I eventually found a new GH one.

No news on V or VI remakes yet, but they were mentioned as being "interesting ideas" in the IGN interview. Which I'll post a link to here.

Also, Final Fantasy XIII won't be released until April next year, also, no English FFXIII demo will be released. Sorry for the bad news. However, I also bear good news, Dissidia Final Fantasy will feature a new Arcade Mode, new moves for characters, and additional cutscenes in the story. The additional cutscenes will feature new characters not seen in the Japanese version.

Thats what the interview said. It may just be for cutscenes though. Hopefully characters like Lightning and Kain Highwind are put in. Kain was originally going to be put in as Cecil's rival, but they opted for Golbez for obvious reasons. Lightning wasn't put in because they didn't want to cement how she moves and attacks before they were finished designing her.
 
I DEMAND Ashe be in it. If not, I'll cry.

My Dissidia game has been going well, finished Cecil's, now onto Cloud's.

lol actually they (at least were) working on a remake for the PS3 a year or so ago. idk that might just be the tech demo im thinking of lolz.

grr i wish i could find it again. i swear it was way too official looking to be a joke. they had all this concept work done, showed a couple test screens with denzel fighting some weak monster, and an even older looking cloud and tifa looked alot more like a stay-at-home mom, like she wouldnt be fighting too much lol.
*sigh* i wish i knew where to find it. maybe it couldve gotten deleted or something before it was too well known? like you said maybe they wanted to get XIII completely out of the way before showing something new?

Im guessing Marlene is 7-9 and Denzel is 10-13.
But that's in my view, it's just how their Apperance and Voice Appear to me.

They said that it was just a Tech Demo, nothing more, similar to the PS2 Tech Demo which shown the Dance Sequence between Rinoa & Squall in FFVIII in Real Time Graphics whereas the original was CG, or even the N64/PS1 Tech Demo which displayed FFVI's Terra, Locke, & Shadow fighting a Golem.
Well its definitely speculated that FFVII will see a re-release on PS3 & possibly 360, nothing is confirmed.

Dissidia Final Fantasy is a crossover fighting game being produced by the Kingdom Hearts Team. It is something of a mix of Super Smash Bros & Kingdom Hearts. It featues 10 episodes, a story for each playable hero. The heroes are Warrior of Light(FFI), Firion(FFII), Onion Knight(FFIII), Cecil(FFIV), Bartz(FFV), Terra(FFVI), Cloud(FFVII), Squall(FFVIII), Zidane(FFIX), & Tidus(FFX). Opposing them are villians from their respective games. Garland(FFI), Emperor Mateus(FFII), Cloud of Darkness(FFIII), Golbez(FFIV), Exdeath(FFV), Kefka(FFVI), Sephiroth(FFVII) Ultimecia(FFVIII), Kuja(FFIX), Jecht(FFX). There are 2 secret characters, Shantotto(FFXI) and Gabranth(FFXII). There is one song for each character, so 2 for each title except XI & XII, which get one, most of those are remixed, plus an unlockable song from each game, done in the original style, so no remixes for the bonuses.
The artwork for the game is done by Tetsuya Nomura, but designed in their Yoshitaka Amano clothing, including Nomura designed characters like Cloud & Tidus.

I agree too, it's starting to get a little out of hand and they should start to focus on other FFs too.

... That is AFTER an VI, VII, VIII and IX remake *Shot'd*
