i agree. a cheerful male type, albeit maybe one with a serious side (like zack) would be a refreshing change to the male leads.
i think maybe a traveler kind of person i would pick, someone you wouldnt expect to be the hero (i guess kinda like bartz was :\)
maybe a versatile hero since honestly im a swordsman in real life but its getting kinda old on FF. maybe a hero who uses swords ALONG with other weapons(and not just variations on swords i mean like using a lance or something different )
name would obviously for me be vallander :P
 
Actually, it goes like this:

I- N/A
II- Silent Type
III- Cheery Type
IV- Silent Type
V- Cheery Type
VI- Silent Type
VII- Silent Type
VIII- Silent Type
IX- Cheery Type
X- Cheery Type
XII- Cheery Type IF you count Vaan, Silent Type if you count Ashe

We've had more Cheery leads than silent actually xD but I wouldn't mind either way.

FFVII PSN on the PSP rocks, currently I just met Aerith.

It's exactly the same, no translations have been fixed, but it IS portable.
 
lol im at the point where ur just past cloud's false flashback :P
course thats on my PC version i downloaded xD (hopefully i have the whole game here the file was only like 1 GB :\)

What 3D rendered remake would you like to see first out of the FF series(even just an improvement on one already in 3D)?
i honestly adore FFVII but i would much rather see FFVI go to super awesome 3d first :D i mean cmon imagine FFVI with the FFXIII graphics! ^_^

I'm kind of wondering on Noctis, though... I'm sure Lightning will be a silent type, since Enix was going for a female Cloud, but I've Noctis might be different?

I'm kind of looking forward to Versus more than XIII, though. x]

Definitely VI. I'm afraid, however, that if might be remade on the DS. ;A; I'm still crossing my fingers for something bigger, though. ><
 
Yeah, I could use a lot of improvement... How exactly did the Warriors get the crystals, I wonder? =/

And II had a ton of flaws. If you happen to wander out a bit too far in the beginning, it's very easy to get yourself killed. And the premise seemed to be Do mission -> report back to Hilda's castle for the majority of the game.

Either FFVI or FFVIII. Both are mildly overshadowed by VII and its fanbase, and they both need remakes. Personally I'd rather have an FFVIII or FFIX remake before FFVII. VII definitely needs some breathing space after all these Compilation adds. And FFVI would be amaaazing in 3D, it may, like FFIV DS did, spark my motivation to play it again.
 
i agree and FF2 also needs a new leveling system if it gets remade :P that one they originally used was such bull.

I'm kind of reluctant to get a PS3, though. Beside Final Fantasy, Disgaea, and Devil May Cry, I'm not so sure about the selection? xD

And the XBox360 looks to have a promising selection... But... No Versus, then.

actually if u snoop around online, a "console" is soon to come out to wipe out the whole console war and reign as king lol since it can play all games...ever...in the history of anything lolz. its a small box that comes with different controllers (for different system types i guess :P) and u plug it into an internet source and ur tv and u can download games instantly to the box, which saves all ur games on i think it was a memory stick or something like that :\

Probably FFVI.. Since I haven't yet had the chance to play it yet..

Just been busy with exams..
I've dug out my PS2 recently..
So I've decided to do the Enforced Class Challenge for FFXII..

And OnLive really doesn't appeal to me, let's be honest. It's only good if you have like, a godly internet connection.
