Yeah, I've played the SNES and PSone versions, although I never owned them so this is my first beating it.

I was fiddling around with FFXII: International today, and was streaming on UStream. I managed to get 4 Meteorites each of A and B. They only have a 2% chance of getting them in the Giza chests, but with the RNG method cracked down, it's getting easy. It can be done on the normal game too, with stuff like the Zodiac Spear in Henne Mines, or Zodiac Escutcheon. You could even get maybe one every hour or so if you're lucky with the new RNG method.

For people who don't know, in FFXII IZJS, there are 4 different kinds of Meteorites: A, B, C, and D.
A inflicts Sap on an enemy.
B inflicts Disease on an enemy.
C works like a Knot of Rust, but can sell for 10,000 gil.
D works like a Dark Matter, but doesn't need to be charged. AKA Dark Energy.

Not at all. That's why so many people imported the Japanese game, including me, to their PSPs, which aren't Jap. They still work. :)

Make sure you add FFXII:RW to that as well. While it's not the best, for a sequel it's very good and has a nice story. I suggest you play it.
 
revenant wings u mean? ya i was planning to buy that when i got a chance. it seems anytime i dont have money i see it at gamestop and when i have money lol i cant find it :P

Why not just try and download the ROM if you can't buy it?
 
ya i can never find a good DS emulator. i tried No$GBA and it sucked hard. tried another two and they both sucked badly as well :P ill just wait and get the real thing lol since i still dont have an R4DS card (will get one soon hopefully i found one online for about $11 and its legit site)


EDIT: btw in case anyone still cares lol and since we've gotten a couple new members since it's creation this is just a reminder:

Eh, I've used xat for years now, too many memories on that site, it feels weird going back.
 
ya i know myself graceful and thunder. are the only ones who seem to post there every now an then. course i cant even mod at the moment since i forgot my password xD

I've played a few spin offs:

Dirge of Cerberus (I liked this O.o)
FF Tactics Advance (Not a Tactics fan so it was meh)
FFX-2 (Ok, X was better)
FFXII Revenant Wings (Played it, was ok, never got around to buying it)

I really want a PSP so I can play Crisis Core and Dissidia, they both look amazing
