Alright so we have our Final 8 now. Congratulations to everyone who made it thus far ^^. But from here on, things get tougher & the difficulty level of the Challenges is going to go up a notch. The ride to the Throne of Edenia is not going to be easy my friends >:).
By the end of the next couple of Challenges, we may (or may not, depending on the situation <insert evil laughter here> >:)) have our first two Finalists, so take every Challenge very seriously from now on.
So, let's get to your next Challenge, shall we? I have to thank Gardy for giving me this idea, with a simple question she asked on the GC ;). Speaking of GCs, I have some news regarding that as well, at the end of the post. But first, your Challenge.
CHALLENGE #10
Mission - Help Chance Furlong re-unite MiniChu Jr. with PapaChu & MamaChu
Spoiler: THE STORY THUS FAR
O MiniChu Jr., Wherefore Art Thou MiniChu Jr.
PapaChu, MamaChu & MiniChu Jr., alongwith a few Chu relatives, were on a holiday trip in the Bahamas. As they were all relaxing at the lovely beach resort, enjoying the light breeze gently brushing their cheeks, an evil Greninja, named Tungstain Lickboot arrives & fools the Chu family into believing that they had won a free meal, at the nearby beach restaurant. As the Chus celebrate, Lickboot uses the opportunity to kidnap MiniChu Jr.
MamaChu notices MiniChu Jr. missing & panics, but PapaChu asks her not to worry. The whole Chu family searches hither, searches yonder, but there was no trace of MiniChu Jr., so they wonder, "O MiniChu Jr., wherefore art thou, MiniChu Jr.!"
Just then, Tungstain Lickboot calls up PapaChu & informs him that he had kidnapped MiniChu Jr. In return, he demands that PapaChu hand over the AKChu (Automated Ketchup Churner), warning him that he'll never see MiniChu Jr. again if he doesn't comply.
PapaChu is in a fix, because the AKChu was a national treasure, so he can't hand it over to a criminal like Lickboot, but MiniChu Jr. was their only child, so as a father, it was his duty to protect him.
PapaChu then remembers his good friend, Chance "T-Bone" Furlong. He immediately calls him up & explains the whole situation. Chance promises to help PapaChu. Since Chance's regular partner, Jake "Razor" Clawson was out a world tour with his girlfriend Kimeow Purrdashian, he calls on [Your Character] to help with Mission. Chance & [Your Character] set out on Mission - "Reunite MiniChu Jr. with PapaChu & MamaChu".
What happens next?
Alright, so you have the basic story plot. You need to give the story an appropriate ending. But of course there are a few rules:-
1. The story has to have a happy ending, with Chance Furlong helping MiniChu Jr. re-unite with PapaChu & MamaChu. Other than that you have complete creative freedom to take it in any direction you want to, but keep in mind all Global Pokecommunity Rules.
2. There is no word limit, but please don't turn it into a never-ending saga :P.
3. You can add as many new characters as want, but they must have a part to play in the story.
4. Nothing vulgar, obscene, inappropriate, no political or religious references & no curse words at all please, or you will be immediately disqualified.
5. Most importantly, you have to PM your stories to me, I repeat, please PM the stories to me, DO NOT post them here.
6. How the winner of the Challenge will be selected, will be explained later.
I know creativity takes a while, so I'm going to be lenient with the 48 Hour time limit rule, but please don't take too long :).
P.S. - Good news for everyone, I talked to the Admins & got the GCs working again. Please make sure to keep visiting regularly, I may have something up there very soon.
P.S.S. - Soaps, the Username change didn't work, unfortunately, still can't send you an invite :(, it seems to have something to do with some user setting maybe, not sure. But don't worry, as the Host its my duty to keep you informed, if I need to put up anything important on the GC & I'll definitely do that :).
P.S.S.S. - You might be wondering what happened to the Challenge a certain someone (you know who ;)) was about to put up. Well that is Mission No.2, coming up very soon ;), ya you guys are gonna be very busy doing some detective work :P.

I don't think it has anything to do with being a Supporter, lots of Members on GCs aren't, you seem to be the only one I can't invite. But don't worry, I just PMed an Admin & requested someone to contact you directly if possible, to see what the issue is. Hopefully something can be done :).
Maybe you should also try contact an Admin from your end if you can. Or maybe talk to PapaChu & MamaChu ^_^.
Where is everybody, its been two days? No one has sent in their stories yet. Come on, come on, you need to get going, gonna give you about 24-30 Hours.
Oh yeah baby, another twist in the tale, Chu Style >:). We are going to have the Third Time's the Charm Challenge. Everyone who has been eliminated, is going to get yet another chance, but ONLY ONE Member will make it back.
But you will only have 24-30 Hours to complete it.
There is yet another twist though, the 8 Claimants who are still on the Event, will be the ones deciding which Claimant makes it back as the 9th Claimant to the Throne of Edenia. Also, the Claimant who does make a comeback, has to win the next Challenge on the Event, or they will be automatically Eliminated again.
Where is everyone, I mean really :|? Only one Claimant has replied so far (& two of the eliminated Claimants)!
Giving you guys a few more hours. The Challenge ends when I next login & all those who do not submit their entries by then, will unfortunately be getting penalties. To avoid that, please make sure you submit your stories on time.
First of all, to all the 8 Claimants still on the Event, I've had only four Claimants sending in their stories so far, four still left to do so. Good news is that its going to take some more time to set up your next Challenge, so being the kind-hearted gentleman I've always been (Cue - This is where everyone says "All Hail Lord LegendChu"), I'm giving everybody about 12-15 more hours to send in their entries. This is the last & final reminder, the time limit will not be extended.
Now moving on to the Third Time's The Charm Challenge, this was an extra opportunity that all the eliminated Claimants were given, so it has to be for a limited period of time, which ends right here. Only two Claimants - DyingWillFlareon & Phosphophyllite sent in their entries, which you can find below:-

O MiniChu Jr., Wherefore Art Thou MiniChu Jr.
Chance chants the summon, 'Egassem Sdrawkcab' to call Bill Cipher. The world went gray to signify the change to the dreamscape, with a maniacal laughter echoing around
"Well hey there big guy!" He looks up to see Bill floating before him. "Whatcha doin'?"
Chance stood up. "I am on a mission to rescue a child from an evil Greninja named Lickboot, and I needed some help."
"What's in it for me?" he asked. He crossed his arms and leaned backward, floating around to Chance's back. Chance simply turned back as well.
"I have a deal you cannot refuse..."
"I like deals, but you're going to have to be more clear on that before anything!" Bill interrupted, turning transparent.
"I cannot go into the details now, but I have a good offer that will net you in when I can give it," he said. "I know you will want the catch now and might not trust me that I can give to you want you want, but I promise I will help."
After a moment of 'hmmmmm'ing, Bill slide back up and snapped his fingers. "Alright then, but you had better keep that, or else." He held out his hand covered with light blue flames. "It's a deal then!" Chance nodded and shook his hand.

After he woke up from the dream, Chance got back up and dusted his clothes off. He continued in the path, knowing that Bill was there watching through the birch trees both himself and Lickboot.
Only a few minutes into looking around for signs, Chance saw the eyes in the knots of the trees. There was one in each along a long path, being an obvious clue now for where he needed to go. He began to sprint down without hesitation to finish this mission. He couldn't let anything happen to this kid...
After just two hours, Chance stopped at a river, panting and sweating. The eyes stopped here; he turned around to make sure he was going the right way still but saw the eyes all close. Lickboot must be around here. Chance leaned down on his knees to drink some water and splash some on his face as a way to cool down before confronting the criminal frog ninja. He cleans himself up and glances around for anybody.
The air was cool but silent and still, if there was anyone around he would hear them easily. There would be no way Tungstain would be get away with this without a fight....
As he thought on this, something caught his eye. Bubbles, in the water. The only reason there should be bubbles here would be if there was somebody was making them with flailing or breath. Taking the chance, Chance dove straight in with a deep breath, right next to the bubbles. He managed to dodge the rocks and fairly shallow bed of the river and took a second to get used to the new lighting.
In front of him was Tungstain Lickboot, the criminal Greninja himself. He appeared shocked to see Chance. In his frog arms was MiniChu Jr. struggling and flailing now that he saw help.
Chance wasted no time in grabbing Lickboot by the throat and lifting all three of them out of the water onto the shallowest part of the river bed. MiniChu Jr. was gasping for breath, still in his arms, and Lickboot was struggling himself now. He swiped at Chance, only to be too far away. Chance used his free hand to pull MiniChu Jr. to saftey and tossed Lickboot to the shore.
Lickboot hit the ground with an 'oomph!' but quickly regained his footing. Panting, he said, "How dare you! What do you think you are doing?!"
Chance turned back to him and glared. "I'm saving the Chu family, and sending you to the PokeJail." He threw a heavy punch that knocked out the much scrawnier Pokemon and knocked him back a few feet. Chance looked down to MiniChu Jr.
The small Chu was back to normal breathing and was no longer fluffed, but was close to falling asleep. "You should try to stay awake," said Chance, much gentler than his other voice. "It isn't a good idea to sleep now for many reasons."
MiniChu Jr. nodded and yawned. He decided to just sleep the moment they were back at home.
Chance threw the unconcious Lickboot over his other shoulder and began back to the Chus' temporairy residence.

"Oh thank you Chance!!" PapaChu gasped when he saw them return. He ran over to hug his child tightly, tearing up with joy. MamaChu came out crying as well.
"What could we ever do to repay you?" she asked.
Chance shook his head. "That's ok, we are friends, that's what friends do. And Lickboot was a menace anyway, obviously. So, do not worry about it!" He turned and smiled at the police that were currently putting the still knocked out Tungstain Lickboot into their car.
As the Chus reunited happily, Chance took the moment to return to a secluded place near the resort. He felt the fatigue catch up to him and almost hit the ground. Rubbing his eyes to keep awake, he sighed to see after that he was already in the dreamscape. "Yes, Cipher?"
Bill morphed in from seemingly no where before Chance. "Well, aren't you just fun today?" He imediately became more serious. "So, now for MY end of the deal! Where is MY PRIZE?" He slowly floated closer to Chance.
Chance smiled slyly and reached subtly into his pocket. "Right here-" He leapt forward and pulled out a dreamcatcher from his pocket, using it to trap Bill.
"HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Bill screamed. "LET ME OUT OF THIS THING!!"
Chance held it up to see Bill was perfectly ensnared before being content and taking a deep breath. "Now neither of you can do anyone any harm."
He woke himself up and sat up, picking the dreamcatcher up. In it was a trapped stone in the shape of Bill Cipher, looking pretty mad. Chance put it back in his pocket and stood up, slowly stepping away in victory.
PHOSPHOPHYLLITE

With a person like Sheriff Woody, Chance was bound to get back to MiniChu Jr. in no time.
"So what do you know about this Tungstain Lickboot guy?" Chance interrogated the sheriff.
"We've had history," he replied. "The guy's a jerk. His hideout is in Hawai'i."
"Hawaii? That's kind of vague," Chance replied, puzzled.
"Hawai'i, Hawaii's main island," Woody clarified.
"How do we get there?"
"I know a guy."
Then, out of the sky, a man in a white astronaut suit flew down.
"Hello, Woody," the man greeted as he approached him. As he did it became clearer who this person was.
"Buzz Lightyear," Woody recalled. "We need your help. We need to go to Hawai'i."
"Hay-way-eye?"
"Hawaii's main island, Hawai'i." Buzz nodded in reply.
"Just hop on my back." So Chance and Woody did.
"To infinity...and beyond!" Buzz exclaimed as he flew upward.
A few hours later, they reached their destination: the Hawai'ian coast. "We're here," Buzz informed. They landed.
"Thanks, Buzz," Chance said. "Let's go," he said impatiently.
"We need to be careful," Woody warned. "Remember, this is the hideout of a supervillain. It's full of traps."
Then, he took his hat off. "Let's go."
The two ventured into the area of the Mauna Loa.
After an arduous trek through the island, they eventually came to a stop. "I remember there's an entrance here," Woody said. "If I can just remember how to open it..."
Chance walked near him. Due to his heavy weight, the ground beneath him cracked. Woody noticed. "Chance, do that again."
"This?" Chance stomped on the ground, then fell into a pit.
"Chance!" Woody yelled. He dived into the pit, only to realize there was a large cushion at the bottom, able to endure Chance's and Woody's falls.
"Nice one," he muttered, doing a small fistbump with the cat. "We need to be sneaky. I'll be on the lookout for traps."
Chance leisurely walked through dark passage. "Chance!" Woody called out in a whispering voice. He tried to run towards him, but he tripped over a rock. As he stood up again, some sort of laser pointed toward his head.
"Uh-oh," he muttered. "Duck!" he ordered. They crouched, and were barely able to dodge an incoming missile.
The missile collided with a wall, creating a loud boom noise and revealing a path of light.
"That can't be good," Chance muttered.
"Oh, you again, Sheriff Woody?" a loud, echoing, sinister voice called out.
"Darn it," he muttered. The wall behind them pushed them towards the light.
"Let me guess..." the robotic Greninja thought. "You're here for the boy, aren't you?"
"Yeah, we are!" Chance yelled boldly.
"Come and get him!" Surrounding them were essentially duplicates of the villain.
Chance grabbed one by its leg and spun around, hitting multiple clones in his vicinity. Before they knew it, half of them were scrap metal. Woody couldn't do much but stare in awe.
A minute later, the clones were reduced to metal. "Easy," Chance said. "That all ya got, Lickboot?"
Then, the robotic villain vanished.
"Oh no," Woody muttered. Lickboot reappeared and grabbed him.
"Now I've got ya!" he yelled. Chance grabbed a hold of him.
"Now where's the kid?" Chance interrogated. "Tell us!"
"Just press the purple button... Don't hurt me!" he told him in fear.
Woody ran towards the purple button. Thinking he was lying, he pressed an orange one next to it.
"SELF-DESTRUCT IN 30 MINUTES."
"What did you do?!" Lickboot yelled.
"I thought you were lying!" Woody replied. He quickly pressed the purple one, and a cage containing MiniChu Jr. lowered.
"How do we open it?" Woody asked.
"Press the green button next to it!" Lickboot replied.
This time, he actually pressed it. The cage opened, and MiniChu Jr. was free. Woody grabbed him. "Let's get out of here."
Sheriff Woody, MiniChu Jr., Chance Furlong, and Tungstain Lickboot quickly escaped via an "emergency exit" that appeared after Woody had pressed the orange button.
Then, as they went back to the coast, there was a magnificent explosion.
"My lair!" the villain yelled. "Do you know how much money I paid for that?!"
"Tungstain Lickboot, you are under arrest," Woody declared. He grabbed a hold of him and cuffed his hands. Lickboot grunted. They walked towards a nearby police station.
"Chance, bring back the kid," Woody informed him. The large feline walked back to Buzz Lightyear.
"Let's go to the Bahamas," he told the astronaut. Wings emerged from his suit, and they flew high.
"To infinity...and beyond!"
