Fire Emblem (revived again)

Fa is the light dragon you get in FE6. She makes a cameo in FE7. And yes, you've been warned for spamming.

Weapon abusing is letting the enemy use up their weapons on you. Usually you do it by not attacking so it's good against magic users or archers since they you can't attack them back. So if an archer has an iron bow with 45 uses, you get about 45 or 90 experience depending on the character if they use up all of their weapons on you. You can get more if it's an army of archers. You only weapon abuse with high defense/resistance characters.

That takes a TON of time ._.;

I'm impatient with the healers and how slow the lvl up already XD

At least he's not as bad as FE6 Hector x_x; He's hideous...

I do double weapon abuse...I have a high-defense character that I want to level up, allow them to be damaged a little, and then use a healer on them for even more experience points...tends to work out well--in many boss battles, I can level up a healer three times.

Afa's Drops and the likes of those increase all of your character's stat growth. (I forgot how many percent but I think it's 10). Very useful. I usually give it to Canas or Nino.

And Assassinate relies solely on the critical hit. Assassinate's activation percentage is a third of the character's critical hit rate. So if Jaffar has a 33% critical hit rate, assassinate has an 11% chance of killing off the enemy regardless of attack. Usually it's an annoying trump card my friend uses against my Oswin. I just hate it when he has 0 damage and manages to kill my Oswin...
I usually use it on my failing characters, esp if it's a lord(like lyn) since you HAVE to use them in the chapters and if they die then it's game over. Otherwise i use it on either raven, canas, or i think lucius. But even after i use it i don't see much progress with that 10% you speak of. like if i use it on canas, if he should normally level up 1 mag, skill, res then he'd do something like 1 mag, skill, luck, res, something small like that

no, Marth is not related to Hector in any way. Marth is from somthing totally different from what i've heard. Roy is Eliwood's son. if you beat the game, you'll see that Hector has a girl named Lilina and Eliwood has Roy.

but a pressing question: Who are their wives?? anyone know?? ive been desparate...><

Canonwise, Eliwood married Ninian and Hector married Florina. Lyn married Rath. Eliwood's son is Roy, Hector's daughter is Lilina (who is a mage in FE6, usually said to be on par with Nino's son, Lugh or occassionally just blowing up. And by the way, canonwise, Roy goes with Lilina). Rath's daughter is Sue (Nomadic Trooper in FE6)

Rebecca married Will and had Wolt (This is more evident because Rebecca was said to be Roy's handmaid and Wolt looks a lot like Will. Not to mention looks like Will with green hair).

Batre 100% marries Karla, no matter what, support or no, and you get Fir, the best swordmaster in the game (not counting Karel's god growth stats).

Canas already has a son, Hugh, who is Rei and Lugh's uncle and Nino's cousin. His mother (don't bother using her) is Niime.

Pent and Louise have a son and daughter, Klien and Clarine. (object of incestual pair in FE6)

Nino and Jaffar marry and they have twins, Rei and Lugh.

Did I leave out anyone?

Yes, that's Hector in FE6.

Part 3 of Chapter 17 in PoR is ticking me off. I can't seem to keep a solid defense against all of those enemies. ><

i dont think Hector married Florina.and i KNOW eliwood didnt marry Ninian cuz she left back to the dragon realm...o.O

Um... you never learned about supports, didn't you? >> If you get Eliwood with an A Support with Ninian, Ninian stays. I'm trying to find the CG arts which shows the characters but I think FESS removed them... oh well

Taken from the game endings:

-Hector and Florina-

Hector succeeded his brother as the marquess of Ostia, but
the pain of his brother's death weighed heavily on him. His
beloved Florina gave him comfort and helped him become an
enlightened leader.

-Lyn and Rath-

When her grandfather died, Lyn asked that Caelin be taken
under Ostian protection. She set out for Sacae, where she
was reunited with Rath of the Kutolah. They had a daughter
and lived happily in the plains.

-Eliwood and Ninian-

Eliwood and Ninian were wed after the conflict. Ninian
gave up her old life and her people to enjoy a brief life
with Eliwood. They have a son named Roy, who will one day
take up arms to defend his nation.

*cough* Listen to Katsuro... >> *cough* I've been playing FE ever since FE6... thanks to Digi... XD

As for CHapter 17, take over the north west corner and line up your best defensive units towards the south. There's a gap there where you position two units and they would be able to block entry. Also, try to watch out for reinforcements popping out of that corner. Place your mage in the swamp because mages will attack in that area.

And yeah. I guess that's pretty much what I did. Oh yeah, in Normal mode, your units should be promoted (or near promoted) after this chapter.

Digi's like the only one who can correct oni_flygon and his guitar >P

Anyways~

I want to play FE and I haven't had time lately. Ch. 20 in FE8 is looooooong for me ._.;

And Part 4 of 17 is more frustrating than 3, with all of those powerhouse units he's got out there. Darn him. >>

Oh that part requires more of a full-on assault. I don't have a strategy in that one besides the fact that once the hawks come out, rescue them immediately because you don't want them stealing your experience. I just hate it when NPC units kill the boss for you.

what does ike look like when he changes class? i'm at chapter 16 and i'm almost getting to 17 when he upgrades(it is 17 right?)

My ilyana and rhys both got taken out on the raven chapter, 12 i believe. hmph, i didn't feel like playing that chapter over again so i just saved in a different slot and went on(not to mention ilyana would never reach soren's ability at her rate in my game so i don't think i'll be needing her).

Ilyana AND Rhys? Man, I have a feeling that may hurt you later, my Ilyana is growing into one powerful unit, and my Rhys is becoming one mean healer.

My Ilyana is catching up with Soren...who is phailing. Level 16 and only 13 Magic...13 is definitely my unlucky number on the game. Ike is 20/0 and only has 13 Strength.

I'm still on Chapter 15 in PoR. I hate the defense formation of the laguz at the temple where the boss is waiting. Someone always ends up dying when there are three or four enemies left. I was upset that one of them got a 2x attack that killed my Marcia (tank in progress o_o; )...that should never happen to Pegasus Knights.

i think my soren has something ilke 14 or 15 magic right now at level...16 or 17 i think, ilyana stayed at 11 mag up till like lv 12 and she had less skill, speed, hp, and resistance. yeah, and in place of rhys, i'm using mist. And acutallyl, rolf is becoming a really really good archer for me. He's growing at the same rate ike did in my game, he just lacks hp. i think he's lv 11 with 22 or 23.

i think i might replay that ch 12 some day (since i didn't save over it) and use boyd(i forgot that boyd wasn't in the crew till i needed his help:P ) and someone else in place of rhys and just stock up on vulenaries(like i am now). My units still fend pretty well for themselves. all my good units are lv 15 and beyond(idk if i should "beef up" jill, she kinda sucks at her starting level, what do you guys think? i've used her like 2 times to finish of a myrmidon and such but that's it)
