Fire Emblem (revived again)

It was too simple for a fact, he should've at least had 20+ in each stat.
I took him out with Saleh Sage with Aura, just too easy, Eirik could've done better.
 
You could consider that Saleh is Pents brother.They start with great stats but then get a bit weak,even though Pent got really powerful for me and so did Saleh,so Saleh can be a good character.
 
Ya. The sages always get upsurped by the smaller characters in the end.

Pent was so-so for me. =/
 
Saleh = Pent, just that Pent has higher skill. THat's the only difference between them. However, due to the destroying of FE8, Pent turns out to be useful. But because of infinite EXP and stats, Saleh is just as good as an original Gato.
 
Is Vanessa or Tana more comparable to Florina in the sense that they begin very weak but become juggernauts?

I always used Pent and found great success with him in FE7, as my Erk continually phailed in every stat, sometimes having a 7 or 8 ATK by the time he was a 20/0 mage, for instance. In FE8 I didn't even bother with Saleh; I was assuming that there were still roughly the same number of chapters as there had been in FE7 (boy was I wrong =/ ) so I thought using a promoted unit so early wouldn't be right. So far, the only mage I've ever used in FE8 is Lute; I may train Ewan to be a mage/mage knight as well this time, just as the popular choice is to make him a druid.

Has anyone promoted Knoll to Summoner instead of Druid?
 
Mage Knights have craptastic caps, I prefer Sages. Kaga, your Erk = my Nino, she phailed me 7 times ; _ ;.
Nooru is better as a Summoner. He can go behind and Summon pawns for us all. Lutae = Lilina. She's a magic tank, but basiclly dies when hit by a phisical unit.
 
Nino usuallu turned out average for me, even when I went through the effort to get her to 20/20+Afa's Drops. I've had one tank Nino, a couple of average ones, and a couple of phailed ones. By the end of the game she's interchangable with Pent, but I prefer Pent because during Light he has a higher proficiency in staves and becomes my secondary stave wielder. I just give him Elfire and Bolting (Priscilla gets Fimbulvetr) along with Mend, Warp, and Restore/Berserk (depends on how I'm feeling.) Then when I get Excalibur from Ursula I throw away Elfire and take that.

I now know what my least-favorite chapter of FE:SS is...it has to be Chapter Six, the one with the fog of war =/ I can usually handle any situation but I still just plain suck at fog battles; I actually raise all my lords in FE7 to 17/0 or higher just so I can get the alternate version of Four-Fanged Offense. If Eirika doesn't die from an axefighter with a 20% chance of hitting ALWAYS coming out of nowhere and landing the hit, the Bael kills the child on the turn before I'm about to kill Novala.....the thing is, I don't know if the child has to survive for me to complete the chapter goals, I've never killed Novala after the child dying. The odd thing is that when the Bael attacks the child, the poison icon and sound effect appear on her when she's attacked. Anyone know why this is?
 
ZOMG! how could could you NOT make Knoll a summoner?! >3

He's total PWN4GE for bringing in units for my weaker ones to chew on >D
 
I didn't make Knoll anything XD I could tell he was phailing badly by 20/0 because his stats were all higher than Ewan's (who mega phailed) when Ewan was 10/20/0 (and Ewan was supposed to be so powerful ._. ) so I gave up on him...
 
Good choice.He doesnt hurt much,cant take physical hits,minions suck if they dont have a decent axe and his stats are bad.
 
Does anyone else thing Cougar is one of the best units in the game? XD

He is definetly one of the best.Except for his RES that is.Mine ended up with 4 RES XD
Make him a Wyvern Lord and let him do the carnage
 
Cougar is pretty good. Not the best. *Points at Seth*
His only good points are Strength and Defence.
I trained all my characters to 20/20 at the end of the game and maxed their stats.
God did that take time from my hands.
