YES!! DO IT!! i leveled up my nephenee and she's a REALLY good unit for me.
i think she's a lv 4 halberdier now with 37 hp 19 str 6 mag 24 skill 21 sp 12 luck, 17 def, 13 res. the only thing i wish was that she gained a bit more str here and there, but she can still take out swordmasters, myrmidons, snipers, some of the laguz birds, and all the magic class people single handedly.

hey and can i ask you guys how your mia turned out? my mia only has 17 str... i need a bit more(seeing how swords are the weakest weapons)

EDIT: hahaha, yesterday i decided to go on a "one man crusade" with ike. i gave him a silver sword, and i forged one with max of everys stat. he beat chapter 23, killing haar and petrine, and only got hit once by petrine. it was AWESOME!

Can anyone tell me exactly where I have to put Lethe in Chapter 15 so I can recruit the myrmidon?

I've got to get this guy because I passed up on Astrid in Level 13, I thought she would be a deal like Jill (recruit in a later chapter) or Sothe (recruit at the base), but apparently she wasn't. These people are horribly tricky.
 
I never got to sweep the place like I wanted to...Marcia and Jill were double-teaming on people elsewhere. All I found without them was a Shine tome; I hope there's better =/
 
hey i have a question, do you ever have to ACTUALLY kill the black night like how you have to fight a boss? or is it like a movie like when the black night fought greil. the intro movie shows ike vs the black night, and all the other movie scenes in the intro have appeared in the game. just curious
 
Well, theives get items 100% in the desert level... just a little handy tip. But you may have already known that... =D

Killing the black knight is a 1 on 1 thing. Suggest bail out miss immediately or if you leveled her up, use her to heal Ike. The Black Knight won't kill her but the reinforcements will.
 
I think that when I finally do have to battle the Black Knight I'm going to use all of my bonus experience on Mist...she's pitiful right now but I have an awful feeling she's going to be necessary ? la Nils in the last chapter of Rekka no Ken. I have about 1700 points right now, and no real reason to use them...

I never bothered leveling her up. I just put Zihark in her place and then replaced him with Stefan.

Oh my Nils was powered up via Ninian via Arena abuse
 
also, when do you get regell?(or was it rogell or regoll, i forget)after seeing the black night the second time in chapter..25 or 26(the one with Geoffrey, who looks strikingly similar to ephraim if you ask me) he says to go back to get that other sword. i'm on chapter 27 i believe.

oh, and my mia just leveled up great all of a sudden, i think she has 21 str now(all thanks to forced exp gain).

hey, does anyone forge really good weapons? i forged a really good sword(ike has 46 str with it), a really good lance, and i'm gonna make a really good bow and axe(if they aren't too expensive) i already stocked up on steals and silvers, so i just want to have some fun with super weapons. :P

can you refresh my mind of the look of chapter 17? i can help you then, i never needed to restart any chapter so far(unless i get a level up with no stat up), so i think i should be able to help. I've played the chapters really fast recently so i forget the lay out and such.
 
You get Ragnell automatically when facing the Black Knight.

They'll get the items 100% of the time, regardless of luck in the desert level.

As for Chapter 17:

The level is long but considerably easy. The first two parts require a full frontal assault, the third one requires a defensive tactic, and the last one is a full frontal assault. Simple as that. And if you're persistent, I'm sure looking back at my old posts will help because I'm lazy to post my strategies...
 
ah 17, that's right, the huge 4 parter. all i did through all the parts was put my units that can survive just on the range of enemies, so they attack, then my weaker defense units or just some other units go and attack them and finish them(if they aren't already dead) then charge to the next line and pull back whoever is in range that i don't want to get hit. though i'd have to say the 3rd part where you find reyson's sister is the most annoying cause you're surrounded, so just about everyone is in range. what i do is head out my strong units to finish off the more effective units like mages and archers that will own my flying units. that one is probably the hardest part. i didn't have a healer so i think you should bring one :P but guard him well. since my ike was already level 20(ever since chapter 14 i think) i didn't use him at all except to finish units if i was in trouble, and since he has leanna(i think that's her name) on his back for a chapter, he becomes almost useless. bring long range units, fast units, and good defense units and it should be fine. it wasn't too hard.
 
Who do you guys recommend that I bring with me on chapter 25? It's the one where those guys push those boulders down the hill.
 
guys with lots of hp. what i did was put people like boyd(who has 53 hp in my game) in range of the boulders, so they waste it, then heal him with soren. no matter who you are, the boulders do 10. i let the boss come to me after a while and keep wasting boulders and healing, then bring down the boss with boyd's bows and soren's magic and ike's blade. but usually boyd can do it on his own. then send you guys up the hill, try to avoid the path of the boulders, but don't worry too much, after all the enemies are gone, there won't be much to hurt you. also, look to find the gaps between the boulders' paths then go in between them and hide so no one gets killed. takes a while, but everyone lives.

yay! my Ike has max str, speed, and def! i'd have to say ike is the best lord/main character that i've used.
