    Hello, I completely inserted the FAIRY icon in a rom, but I dont know how to edit the ??? word to be FAIRy.....

    Im new in hacking so Hex editing is bit difficult for me, who has a perfect tutorial for that?

    Hi!

    Replacing ??? is a shortcut, but it's not ideal - it will effect how the move 'struggle' works amongst other minor problems. If you've got time, try working through this tutorial by ShyRayq - I haven't tried it myself yet, but it reads pretty clearly :). Just make sure you've got all those tools handy!
