[Other] FireRed Hacking & National Dex

Hello, everyone.

I'm new but determined to try my hand at hacking. My first real question comes because I know certain Pokemon won't evolve on FireRed until the National Dex is obtained. What is the ideal way to work around this in a hack of that game? For example, if I wanted a Chikorita to evolve into Bayleef?

Chikorita should evolve anyway. believe it or not, there is data supporting all pokemon from gen 1 to 3 in FR/LG/S/R/E, i have been breeding sentrets on my actual sapphire game for a bit. and i don't even have a national dex yet.

It need to be adaptaded.

You can use the Misc. Editor to activate evolutions without NatDex.

You do need the National Dex. The Pokemon just stop evolving and the screen reads "....?". Perhaps this is a difference between FireRed and R/S/E? I will try to acquire the Misc. Editor.
