[Other] FireRed ROM Error?

    Today, when I was playing my FireRed ROM on VBA, with a lot of hardships finally beat Champion Gary. Then, after Prof. Oak's long speech, I go into the Hall of Fame. Then, I exit the Pokemon League building, Gary runs away, Prof. Oak follow him, credits start rolling. When the credits are over, the game restarts. After that, Prof. Oak again start asking me 'Are you a Boy or a Girl?' This means the game has totally restarted! Now, what should I do? Is this an error or I'm doing something wrong?
     
    Did you keep repeatedly pressing the "A" button at the title screen or did you move the arrow keys at any time?
    This could result in you accidently pressing the down arrow key and pressing "A"

    This is because this message appeared before you stated playing the game:
    "The 1M sub-circuit board is not installed."

    And, according to the Emulation FAQ...
    Open up VisualBoyAdvance without loading any ROMs. Go to the "Options" menu and select "Emulator", "Save Type". Select "Automatic" and "Flash 128K" as your save type. Delete the save file associated to your ROM.

    Yeah, you have to start again, buddy. Should've checked out the error first. :/
     
    WHAT? I'M DOOMED! Well, my Zapdos, Moltres, Articuno, Charizard, Vaporeon and Nidoking are gone.... I shouldn't have wasted 3 hours for catchimg Moltres then...
