3rd Gen FireRed Umbreon

I just got my Eevee to level 40 in FireRed, it was at night, and the critter was as happy as hell, and didn't evolve.

Am I missing something?

Eevee can't evolve into Espeon or Umbreon as Fire Red & Leaf Green were made without clocks, meaning there is no day or night for them to evolve

If you trade them to R/S/E (by the network machine you repaired on One Island) you can evolve them and then trade'em back, they would get the "Trade Exp. Boost" x2 too...
