Hello all!

I will be chronicling my Go adventures and the highlights of my day while playing.

To get started I will list a few of the highlights I've had since starting the game. (not in chronological order)
- Chose Squirtle as my starter
- First catch = Squirtle
- evolved my Eevee into a Flareon with CP of 911 (ironic much?)
- Evolved my Squirtle into a Wartortle
- Evolved a Seadra
- Chose Team Blue
- Caught a Poliwhirl
- Evolved a Weepinbell with CP 666 (proceeded to power up ASAP)
- caught a Venomoth
- Caught an obscene amount of Electabuzz, at least I think its obscene
- have 76 Magikarp candies, only need to catch another 105 or so, piece of cake...

Well those are the main highlights, I'll be going into more depth once I start breaking it down into a day or two of action rather than almost 2 weeks worth.

Hello again!

Well there still isn't much to say on Poke Hunting Adventures these last few days with this 3 step glitch making it fairly difficult to find Pokemon. So instead of going out and trying to find Pokemon, I've been doing what I can to hatch my eggs that I have and evolve some Pokemon!

So far the egg hatching hasn't gone well as I havent had much time to do any walking but I am doing my best to make some progress on my 10k egg. As for the evolutions, I evolved my M Nidoran into Nidorino, CP of only 260 or so though (a bit disappointing I'd say) and I decided to also evolve my Staryu and Goldeen into Starmie and Seaking respectively with 696 and 595 CPs.

Though I may not have actively searched for Pokemon, I was able to find some pretty neat ones in the comfort of my own home. These Pokemon included Squirtle, a couple Eevee, Machop, Krabby, Gastly and Pidgeotto. So I'd say I'm still having some decent success even with this glitch.

Now I just need to go get some more PokeBalls...

Greetings my fellow Trainers!

Back at it with another segment of FireSnow's Poke Hunting adventures, starring your host, FireSnow!

In my previous installment, I wasn't having much luck with catching Pokemon, namely due to the glitch and the fact that I didn't want to get off the couch this past weekend....Yeah...

Anyways, These last two days have been much more fruitful, not necessarily in quantity but in quality. I was able to catch a couple eevee, as well as a SQuirtle and an Abra right in my kitchen! and thats not all, I also evolved one of those Eevee into a Jolteon! Woooo! It now stands at a solid 903CP right behind its fellow eeveelution, Flareon.

As for the next day, I decided it would be wise to go out and work on hatching some eggs and see if I could find some good Pokemon to catch while I was at it. Not to mention I only had 5 Pokeballs....so those Pokestops were much needed :3

I decided to go with a friend and we started walking, as fate would have it, I found some pretty cool Pokemon like Slowpoke, Staryu, Voltorb, Charmander and even a 742 Electabuzz! :0 Safe to to say I was pretty happy with that but then the real prize showed up. As we were heading back, an amazing Pokemon appeared. Take a guess what it was. C'mon take a guess. You sure you dont want to? Okay....IT WAS A NIDOQUEEN!!!! I searched high and low for that Pokemon. Finally, as I was climbing up some stairs, there it was, sitting at the top, waiting for my challenge. I looked at it with pure determination and prepared to battle. When out of nowhere, a gust of wind violently came through the area. I held on to the railing for dear life as the wind passed through. When I looked up to see if the Nidoqueen was ready to battle, it had disappeared without a trace. I sat there in disbelief for a few minutes as I replayed what had just happened through my mind. I couldn't believe it but I couldn't let it get me down. I will continue searching for that Nidoqueen in hopes of having the chance to battle it. That you can be sure of.

Nice job on the Jolteon - what CP was the Eevee you evolved? I'm finding it tough to get a strong Jolteon myself, it just hardly seems to gain any CP from evolving, especially compared to the other two evolutions. Very jealous of the Electabuzz so great work getting him but I feel very bad for you with the Nidoqueen! Don't you just hate it when wild gusts of wind send giant scary looking Pokémon flying into the sky away from all of your Pokéballs? :(

Thanks! If i remember correctly, it was a 435 CP Eevee. I was sad that it go up more when it evolved but I can't complain though, Jolteon is still awesome! I have seen somewhere though that says something about how when Eevee evolves it is a 2x boost for JOlteon, 2.5 for Flareon, and ~3.0 for Vaporeon. Its amazing how many Electabuzz there are in my area, or rather a singular area. If I wanted to, I could catch 20 in a day, there are just that many o.O Still haven't caught up with that Nidoqueen but its only a matter of time before it appears again and this time it won't get away ;)

*Ding* *Ding* *Ding*

You know what that means! Another edition of FireSnow goes PokeHunting!

In my last edition, I spoke about all the cool Pokemon I had caught and evolved as well as my encounter with a rare NIdoqueen. Well I am here to say that....I still haven't found that blasted Nidoqueen. But I shall not give up!

In the meantime though I did join an event where the goal was to catch, you guessed it....Zubat. "Only the world's strongest Pokemon!" - No One Ever. But alas, I have really enjoyed this event, put on by our very own Squirrel. So I've been out and about doing what I can to catch these critters that are as abundant as they were in Dark Cave. Except this time, I'm enjoying myself.

In addition to the event, I decided to go for a run one day and hatch a couple eggs, including my 10K. (PSA: Do not go for a run when it is 100 degrees outside) As I was running, I came across a few cool Pokemon like Scyther, Magikarp, Poliwag and a Poliwhirl! Too bad the Poliwhirl ran away, I'll miss those 5 Great Balls I threw at it :'(

Finally after what seemed like an eternity, I hatched my egg and this was what was inside *Drumroll begins* Inside was a......Snorlax! The big lug is now my most powerful Pokemon with a CP of 1330. It is still so young though so there is much room for improvement still.

Taking a page from some other people's journals, I will now set some goals for myself:
1. Hatch my second 10K egg
2. Receive gold medal for catching Poison Pokemon
3. Receive gold medal for catching Flying Pokemon
4. Catch 2 more F Nidoran to get my Nidorina

And with that, I'm off again to explore my city for Pokemon.

Welcome to a special edition of PokeHunting Adventures.

Now normally I write these updates after a few days but some amazing things happened in the last day, well technically only two amazing things happened but they are pretty awesome ones.

So let's begin!

In a surprise occurrence, a Growlithe appeared on my nearby. I couldn't believe it! My heart was beating so hard that I thought it would pop straight out. As I prepared to begin my search, the little fire type was so kind as to appear right in the middle of my room. Talk about lucky! After a couple of throws, I can happily say I am the proud owner of an adorable little Growlithe named Pupper.

In the second big event, I was on my run yesterday when the, arguably, most desirable Pokemon appeared on my screen. You guessed it, a Pikachu appeared! Now I was excited for Growlithe but Pikachu caused an excitement that was in a whole different stratosphere. The electric mouse made the battle pretty difficult, I lost 6 Great Balls, but on the lucky 7th throw the ball clicked shut and Pikachu was mine. Now all thats left to find is a Bulbasaur to complete my starter set.

Completed Goals:
Receive gold medal for catching Flying Pokemon

Taking a page from some other people's journals, I will now set some goals for myself:
1. Hatch my second 10K egg (1.2 KM more)
2. Receive gold medal for catching Poison Pokemon
3. Catch 2 more F Nidoran to get my Nidorina

Hello, Hello, Hello!

FireSnow here with another update on my PokeHunting Adventures.

Last time, I caught a Growlithe and Pikachu, pretty cool right? Well, I actually topped that the last couple of days.

Firstly, I hatched my second 10k (completing a goal) and it turned out to be an awesome Lapras! This sea creature is gonna be a major help in battles. Next, I hatched a few more eggs, nothing really cool other than a Geodude since they were all 2Ks. Once I was done with that, I decided it would be a good idea to hit up the local hotspots for some Pokemon one night. Right before I left though, I found yet another Growlithe. Sweet! The adventure was starting off well.

So I made my way down to this park that has 5 Pokestops right next to each other and almost always has a lure in going. So my roommate and I had the pleasure of being around 5 lures. This is where the fun begins. I caught so many Pokemon, I almost ran out of space! I didn't even have time to transfer the ones I didn't want. The main culprits of this were MAgikarp and Psyduck. I easily caught 25 Magikarp and 15 Psyduck in that hour and a half, putting me almost halfway to a Gyarados and giving me a Golduck finally. Another 'mon I'm looking forward to using. We continued to catch Pokemon with Poliwag, Eevee and Dratini periodically appearing as well. Even another Pikachu! Safe to say it was a good outing but there was more. I finally received enough Eevee candy to evolve my 466 Eevee into a Vaporeon! It is now my second strongest which is awesome. The last big event was when a Poliwrath appeared. This amazing Fighting type was a must-catch and, lucky me, only took two Great Ball Nice throws. Was halfway through level 17 when I started and now sitting pretty at 1000XP from lvl 19.

Going out again today to continue working towards that Gyarados and hopefully some Tentacool.

Receive gold medal for catching Flying Pokemon
Catch 2 more F Nidoran to get my Nidorina
Hatch my second 10K egg (1.2 KM more) (Turned into Lapras)
Receive gold medal for catching Poison Pokemon

Goals:
1.Catch 5 more Goldeen for a Seaking
2. Hatch 2 5K eggs
3. Receive Gold Medal for Schoolkid (26 more)
4. Receive Gold Medal for Swimmer (13 more)
5. Receive Silver Medal for Gardener (17 more)
