Since I've been playing Pokemon X for a while I decided to build my first competetive team. Its purpose is mostly to compete with others online without using too many overpowered Pokemon. Instead I've tried to build it a little more balanced but since I don't have any experience I'd like to get some feedback of things I might consider.

    My team:

    Ferrothorn @Leftovers
    Ability: Iron Barbs
    Nature: Relaxed
    EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SpD
    - Stealth Rocks
    - Spikes
    - Power Wip
    - Gyro Ball

    Gardevoir @Gardevoirite
    Ability: Trace/Pixilate
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 56 HP / 252 SpA / 200 Spe
    - Psychic
    - Moonblast
    - Will-O-Wisp
    - Calm Mind

    Garchomp @Life Orb
    Ability: Sand Veil
    Nature: Jolly
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
    - Outrage
    - Earthquake
    - Swords Dance
    - Poison Jab

    Metagross @Choice Band
    Ability: Clear Body
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 164 HP / 252 Atk / 92 Spe
    - Hammer Arm
    - Bullet Punch
    - Zen Headbutt
    - Meteor Mash

    Starmie @Leftovers
    Ability: Natural Cure
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 248 HP / 32 Def / 4 SpA / 224 Spe
    - Scald
    - Rapid Spin
    - Recover
    - Ice Beam

    Rotom-H @Choice Specs
    Ability: Levitate
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    - Overheat
    - Volt Switch
    - Thunderbolt
    - Trick

While Gardevoir can patch up its low Defense with Will-o-Wisp, it's not recommended in its current set. Because of this, I'd recommend that Will-o-Wisp be used for defensive sets only. This is an offensive set, so Gardevoir can drop Will-o-Wisp for another coverage move like Focus Blast.

I like your team a lot overall because of the way everything has nice synchrony. Ferrothorn is about your only counter to a greninja protean set (bar HP fire sets), so you may want to look into that. I think your team looks pretty good overall if you take Platinumdude's advice (^^^^) and fix that, you will do well. Remember to keep ferro and starmie alive or else you will get destroyed by either greninja or hazards, respectively.
