Fish or Surf?

usually a little bit of both but mostly fishing if im looking for water pokemon

In RSE I dived to find the pokemon that I wanted, but in the other games I used a good rod and sometimes super rod. Like 90% of the time though when I used a super rod I got a Gyrados or Tentacruel depending on the area.

I really only fish when I'm looking for specific Pokemon. I generally just surf.

I normally get a water pokemon in grass like Marill in RSE and Buizel in DPPt, but if I'm looking for a decent pokemon, I will always fish with a Super Rod, because the pokemon always come at a good level.

I really do not care, to be honest. I am not that interested in water Pokémon, so I catch any one, for surf/dive/waterfall purposes. I usually search for water + ice Pokémon.
