[PokeCommunity.com] FITSPIRATION - Physical Fitness thread.

    Gym and fitness topic lads.

So recently ive been hitting the gym, both my personal one at home and near our place, a lot more recently especialy after ive graduated from college. I frequently hit the gym as ofen as i can so i can be more physically fit as well as a source of physical and even mental discipline training as well as keeping up with a good meal plan.

So how are you on your own fitness goals or if any? Are you having some weight issues or just needing to get some gains? If so, state out and share your own daily and current or even former experiences and share with everyone your own tips, hints, and memorable goals.

    Go.

    Walk
    Walk
    Walk
    Walk
    Walk
    Rum
    Sleep And Squat like Slav

I mean it's literally my everyday schedule of fitness , minimum effort but still enough for a day of 8000 steps. Meal? Less rice , less carbohydrates , less sugar , less fat, less calorie. Get more vegetables and preferred more on steamed food. Also, if you can reduce your time visiting MacDonald's or KFC and getting junk snacks. Instead eat more fruit and drink more water. For a balanced diet, morning meal should be taken everyday and the amount of food you eat should not be less and much to maintain a good sugar intake so that your liver will not overwork and live longer.

I do quite a lot of walking myself, but whenever I get out I make an effort to jog or run a little bit too. :P I usually get in at least a half hour of walking exercise per day, and probably a bit more than that on average. It makes me feel amazing after sitting around for too long, and does wonders for my health for sure. A couple times a week I run laps around my park (which has a track that spans around a quarter mile across), and after running those laps I feel amazing and so relaxed and happy.

My diet is... all over the place. I eat healthy, but I eat unhealthy at the same time. I'm the type of person who will grab a kit kat bar first thing in the morning right after getting up from bed, and then have a proper breakfast an hour later. I'm also someone who can't put down the snacks she buys, especially if it's really sweet and decadent like double stuffed oreos or butter toffee peanuts, and because of this I'm not overweight but a couple of extra pounds heavier than I want to be. If I take better control of my diet I think I could reach my goal weight in a few weeks though! ^^

Its okay to have at least one kit kat bar even as an excuse for an energy boost. I remember my obesity days more than 10 years ago where i was weighting at around 200 lbs which was for my age and height was already borderline obese according to Bodmass index. I still have that bad habit but i make sure i keep it in moderation. Cheat days, after weeks of significant progress is fine since i can eat all the kit kat bars that i can have XD xd.

Also as a survivor and eventual conquerer of obesity during my teenage years (losing 40lbs after 12 weeks thanks to Bill Philipps' Body For Life program) i know first hand what it felt like javing to wear size 38 to even 40 sized Regular jeans felt like, as well has needing XXL AMERICAN size shirts as my standard back in the day since XXL asian size was smol...

As of this posting, i hope my legs wont die tomorrow morning. Leg pressing 520 pounds felt good. I aim to improve that leg press power.

Yea I've been lifting since January. I've been a skinny dude my whole life and just got sick of my track team physique so I recently got serious about gaining weight. Lots of heavy pressing/squating/deadlifts and interval cardio training twice a week. I'm up to 155 pounds now and benching 205, but my main two goals is to put 20 more pounds of muscle and bench 255. After that I'll start cutting to get my body fat to around 8%

I'm on a 2700 calorie diet right now and I've been gaining about half a pound of healthy weight a week. It's a high carb/protein low fat diet so it's not too terribly bad, but damn dude 180+ grams of protein a day is not easy

I've gained a bit of fat around my stomach over the last two year, and I started hitting the gym about 2 months ago. I really never had a need for the gym prior cause I was usually active enough but seeing my tummy bulge out was kind of a wake up call.

I mainly try to run and work on my upper body. Leg day at the end of every week or so. I work my upper body mainly through dumbell chest presses. Highest I can go is 45 on each hand at the moment, working on improving that. Also work on bicep curls and pec-dec. Regarding running, I've been building up to hit a 6mph average in half an hour. I was always the runner, but the last two years really killed my stamina. Currently I think the highest I can hit is around 5.6 or 5.7. I try to go every day or at the very least every other day.

    Any advice would be great!

Fitness is an important part of my life. I'm thinking of becoming a personal trainer, actually.

Two weeks ago, I was dumbbell shoulder pressing and I injured my shoulder. Been to urgent care a couple of times, and now I'm waiting until my appointment this coming Friday for a specialist to look at it. I think its my rotator cuff. Had an X-ray to make sure it wasn't a broken bone, though.

During the day it's usually okay because I'm distracted and moving around, but at night, I experience the worst pain. It makes it very hard to sleep. I went through my meds (steroids) that urgent care prescribed me, but no refills.

I've been out of the gym since and it's causing me a lot of mental issues. I can deal with the physical pain, but the mental aspect of the injury really bothers me.

I haven't been great in regards to fitness recently. I used to be, but things kind of went downhill a few years ago when I went through some life changes. Heh

I've been trying to get back into it recently however. I do a lot of walking, and I've been researching exercise tips for beginners on the internet. I've tried a few, but I haven't made them into a regular routine yet.

As for diet, I'm off and on. I drink a lot of water which I know is good, and I try to pick out fruits and vegetables rather than chips and cookies. A ripe banana or a celery stick with some peanut butter tastes a lot better than a Dorito anyway, so I don't know why I turn to the latter at all. xD

Oh my gosh I can so agree with you on that! Bananas are one of my favorite fruits up there with mangos and strawberries, and celery with peanut butter is amaaaaazing, especially if you add a little bit of honey to the peanut butter to sweeten it. :)
