Hello everyone!

It's been a looooooong time since I've been in a forum and after searching for a while I decided to nest here as there seems to be a lot of activity and lots of great topics to discuss.

A bit about me I turned 23 in march (though I stopped aging at 18 lol) and I've been playing pokemon since it first hit 'merica in 1998 With my Charlizard (I called him that forever) , Cloyster, Vaporeon, Pideot, Wigglytuff, and a Mew that I got through a nintendo event. (Back in the days that events were like conventions.)

Pokemon had from that day changed my life and inspired me to become an artist. There was no end to the creativity that I drew on those pages from long ago. I wrote stories with them, and was inspired to "be the very best." XD

Since those days I've become a feelance artist (if you would like to see my art you can always do a google search of me. I use the same name everywhere) and despite my old fogey approach to the games, I still play them and am growing more and more excited for X and Y, with so much secrecy there's bound to be something amazing on the horizon. So pay no mind if I seem crotchedy at first, I've been in Pokemon from the start, and sometimes various changes (TMSDON'TBREAKCOUGH) irk me, but I'd rather play through and enjoy the games than nit-pick. I've been in it from the start, I'm not about to quit now. :3

So meysh... I'm friendly and outgoing and I really love helping people so when I'm not such a noob anymore I'd like to lend a hand somewheres. XD

I'm glad you chose PC as your new home. I have no clue what your old forum was but I'm guessing it's also related to a specific fandom? Either way, you seem to have learned a lot from that place. Join dates shouldn't define you, you know. You seem way less noobish compared to members who've been here for a while, just from this introduction. XD;

I'm just glad our activity and list of active topics were enough to draw you in. Maybe you should visit the ones that you already saw that interested you. You owe those threads a reply!

In all seriousness, it's amazing that Pokémon changed your life like that. How's being a freelance artist so far? I always thought being a freelance artist was such an inspiring profession to have because most of these artists really love what they're doing. I can only dream of being an artist because it's too late for that now, but I guess browsing tumblr and DeviantArt for masterpieces is enough to fill my soul with that part of me that kinda secretly wished he took art more seriously as a kid.

I have to agree on your stance with the Pokémon franchise as of late. I've played Pokémon since the release of Gold (I'm pretty sure I started with Yellow though, and then hopped back again with Blue for some reason) so I'm not here to disagree with your views on such changes. In fact, I'm just happy to be playing a franchise that I've enjoyed since the start, just like you. Oh and X and Y! Waiting for X and Y is incredibly exciting! You have to jump into the discussions that folks at the X and Y section are partaking in right now because as October gets closer, it'll only get more and more bustling and wild. Haha.

I really hope you stick around because you seem like such an interesting person. You should post in places that inspire you to post. Maybe check a section that might love some activity from you *cough* Art & Design *cough* (because the mods there, Derozio and Alexial will love the activity you give it) or elsewhere that just really interests you. Lots of topics that aren't strictly Pokémon related are scattered around the forums, too. So you'll never get bored. For now, I'll be seeing you! Enjoy you stay. :)
