What you mean by foreign, like illegal immigrants that get paid under the table or immigrants that are here legally that are on the employers payroll?
I guess I can answer both.. Illegals go both ways in the work force.. It takes away jobs from legal citizens but also saves the employer money since the illegal immigrant isn't on payroll but the employer also risks serious criminal charges for tax evasion and having an illegal on the work force. I don't condone illegal immigrants working here for less, I don't like illegal immigrants period. Legal is fine. But then again, most of these jobs are taken from people that don't want to do them anyways, a lot of America is lazy and just want shit given to them so the employer doesn't really have an issue with it. Tho if I was an employer I wouldn't risk hiring an illegal immigrant or even push the buttons with tax evasions. I'll pass on the felony charges and potential prison time.
Legal immigrants, as I said I don't have a problem with them at all if they live here legally and are on payroll. Immigrants are usually more reliable for an employer because they don't have a problem doing the jobs other don't want to do and it's more optimistic for the immigrants then they ever had in their country. Most immigrants accept minimum wage where the average US citizen demands more, so it makes sense an employer would hire the immigrant, even putting qualifications aside. Do I agree with it? No. But It's not in my control, it's the employers decision so I just have to live with it. It's not like there aren't any jobs, it's just a little difficult at times.
