It was just Pikachu who was "reset" and Ash wanting to enter a new region with just Pika. he doesn't completely reset despite very common beliefs. 3:
 
65. Pikachu was so cute when he was chubby. Not that's he's not cute now. But I miss little Chubby pikachu from time to time.
 
68. I was on google images, searching pokemon oshawott. Near the top is a pic of one of hikaris sigs.
