Depends on the situation, really. I am usually selfless when it concerns people I know, yet I am also very selfish. Has to do with my elitist self but in short. I'm an egocentrical pig.

At rare times, I will have spasm of selfishness, but not the case for everyday. I am, most of the time, selfless. I could care less about receiving presents for holidays or my own birthday (12/30 birthday, my parents refuse to get me any present because it's right after Christmas anyway). I don't give a lot of material things, but I help when I can. (I am serious)
