Forming an RMXP team

    I am forming an RMXP team, there is already a website thread however it got closed due to the website having no content. Shady Shadow Games team will be making games using RMXP (even pokemon fan games if you like). The main genre of games we will be making are RPGs and team members will get the privelage of having their own games, tutorials, resources hosted on the main site along with the SSG team games.     OK, I'm gonna make a quick little game to show everyone that I will be helping out with the projects and not sitting around letting the team do all the work. Admittedly I am not the best and far from it but I enjoy making games and that's what it really should be about in the end. Am going to make a quick game now...
     
    Well, Dawson.. I think thats usually the point. If you can do it yourself, then why need a team??
     
    I can't do it myself, not huge projects anyway that Shady Shadow Games will be doing (if I can get a team together).
     
    In a group, each member must have some ability (maybe scripting, maybe spriting, mapping, etc).

    If you don't know how to do anything of the above, there is no point for YOU to start a team. You'd better sit down and play, like most people do ;)
     
    OK, I want to set some stuff straight:

    > I WON'T BE THE LEADER, there is no leader, I will be working alongside the rest of the team.
    > I may not be an 1337 scripter or a superb graphics artist but I know my way around rpg maker and I've been using it since rm2k.
    > As I posted above, in the end it's all about making the games and enjoying it, it's not about how "awesome" everyone is at rpg maker.
    > Please don't reply to this topic if you're just gonna say "OMG, j00 only want team bcus j00 hav no skillzzzzzzzzz". I've heard all this rubbish before and now I've made my point, please reply in reviewing my website or PM if you wish to join. Thank you.

    I did have a Pokemon remake I was making before but then my hard drive crashed and I lost everything so I'm currently working on a small little project to present to this forum.
     
    Do you plan on releasing a demo for showing us? Or just screenshots?

    @Rm2k3Guy: well, if you keep your group small, with 2 or 3 people you trust, it should be fine. In my case, Yuka and I work alone (with security rules like separated files for each thing, etc)... All for the sake of the game, right?

    Stop being sarcy (sarcasm) I meant it when I said we'll work as a team. I'm working on my little project slowly...kinda busy with other stuff too at the moment.
