Fortunately, Unfortunately

This is a simple game where a random guy has a lot of strange things happen to him.

Here's an example:

Poster #1: One day a man was eating a burrito. Unfortunately, it was laced with Jalapeno peppers and he started choking because of the heat.

Poster #2: Fortunately, another guy gave him his smoothie to cool him down.

Poster #3: Unfortunately, this only made it worse.

You just keep on going in the patter of, "Fortunately, Unfortunately" and all kinds of funny things will happen to this poor guy. You base your post off of the last person's post. I'll start.




One day, a kind fellow was unfortunately fired from his job at KFC.

Fortunately, he received news that he was accepted for another, better paying job at Arby's.

Unfortunately, when he got there, he tried an Arby-Q and got food poisoning and had to be rushed to the hospital.

One day Pedobear was walking to the grocery store. Unfortunately, he was arrested.

Sounds fun.

Fortunately, the man arrived on "free treatment day" at the same hospital.

Unfortunately, the treatment was less than adequate.

Unfortunately, he could never walk again, so he had to retire early.

Fortunately, that means he gets the "retirement mansion" his grandparents bought for him years ago for when he retires (all expense paid until he dies, of course).

But then it wouldn't be as fun. I mean, continuing the same story gets old.

Unfortunately he died from a heart attack, and began a ghost.

But you can just throw in new characters like so:

Fortunately, he met a very nice ghost like himself who had a tragic story.


...then we can talk about that other ghost, or the other ghost's pet, etc.

Unfortunately, the ghost told his Boring Tale of how he traveled around the world to find Colonel Sanders Original Bucket.

You have to have the word "Unfortunately or fortunately" in your sentence. (I'm continuing from Barrage's)

Fortunately, they found a ghost cat who got along very well with both ghosts.
