    A quick question:

My friend and I were in the middle of a match when I sent out a Ditto (Ditto's Pokemon power is: If Ditto is your Active Pokemon, treat it as if it were the same card as the Defending Pokemon, including type, Hit Points, Weakness, and so on, except Ditto can't evolve, always has this Pokemon Power, and you may treat any Energy attached to Ditto as Energy of any type. Ditto isn't a copy of any other Pokemon while Ditto is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.) equipped with en eviolite. My friend has a Vullaby. During the next turn he evolved Vullaby into Mandibuzz. Does Ditto still maintain its status as a basic Pokemon and continue to enjoy the benefits of its eviolite or does it become a stage 1 Pokemon by transforming into Mandibuzz and lose the effects of the attached item?

As the wording dictates, ditto is now "the same card" as mandibuzz, and mandibuzz is a stage 1 pokemon. Eviolite's effects end when vullaby evolves.
