I've got a question.
Let's say I challenge a gym leader, and a win and get a badge. If I decide to become a gym leader (if I'm allowed), do I retain my gym badges or not?

Also, I've got 4/6 of my Pokemon ready now, so I'll be able to challenge my first gym leader maybe by the weekend (I've got a fair bit of stuff to do this week).

Pikachu, what you really need is to make Poliwrath an all-out physical attacker. Give him some high-powered Fighting moves, and one or two wildcard attacks.
