What's with the 'Free Dictionary' ad tag that's been showing up lately. Sometimes, around the forum, some words are colored and underlined as if they are links, and they're obviously not supposed to be links. When the cursor hovers over the text, a tag appears about a free dictionary and what not. The same word might not be highlighted the second time you view the page. It my be a bug or bot, or my browser (which i doubt).. I use Opera btw.

    Here's how the tag looks:

Yeah it happens to me too...a lot. It's really annoying haha...

yeah, but its just soooooooo annoying. Some small stuff might seem like nothing, but its like they ruin the the webpage. :( I hate ads although i advertise my hack in my sig, but its not annoying to people cause it doesn't directly affect anyone..

You could just use ad blocker to block the specific ads you choose, then this wouldn't be an issue at all.

It triggers an ad on various keywords and put a double-underlined link that, when you hover over, shows an related ad. We do earn some money to help defray hosting costs with these ads.

Yes they can be annoying (I must learn to put cursor outside of page) even for me (P.S. I see all the ads, unlike supporters and staff) so I have tried to keep the cursor off the page when reading posts.

Bottom line, nothing to worry about.
