So, basically, if you go down to a participating GameStop and buy 3 booster packs, there will be a code printed on your receipt that you can redeem for one of the two M Charizard EX cards as long as the code is redeemed before June 30th.

Will you be making a GameStop trip anytime soon?

I wouldn't go to GameStop solely for the promotion. GS isn't even my first choice when buying a game, so I rarely go there. If I did happen to be at a participating GS, I would definitely take advantage of the promotion. My local GS doesn't sell boosters, so I'm out of luck. Besides, even if I got a code, I would just post it here because I don't play TCGO :P

This actually answers questions I had as to why my local GameStop had boosters while I was there a month ago, haha.

I hope they still have them. I only bought 2 last time I was there...

Bit of an odd promotion, but if the goal is to move cards into the hands of those who don't normally buy them, it might well work.

idk, I think the goal of this promotion was for people to buy cards from GameStop rather than other stores. Free virtual Mega Charizard EX or not, I still buy TCG boosters in clusters of three or more whenever I buy them every other month. For me, the incentive isn't good enough to drive an extra 30 minutes to my local GameStop when I would rather drive half the distance to my local grocery store. If the Charizard was physical, however, things would be a different story :P Perhaps it's because I don't play TCGO, though.
