    hey. i found a link to a free vBulletin 2.X.X and 3.X.X. is there something up here? i want it but i dont wanna get in trubl/

    I don't understand that, but using a vBulliten when you don't own the license is illegal. =\ If you don't want to get in trouble or get caught, don't use it.
     
    It's pirated. If you're caught using it by a vBulletin dude, you can get sued big time. :D
     
    it said "free vBulletin license" it had a license form and below that there was a download link.
     
    Where was this? If it wasn't at VBulletin's offical site, it's probally a fruad.

    If you?re caught with a fake, expired, or invalid ID you?ll be busted big time, yeah. I wouldn?t recommend it, but whatever you think~

    I already have 3.0.1 downloaded and saved onto my computer... XD

    I've uploaded it before just to see what the panel is like on a real board setting. DIdn't really impress me actually.

    I'd never use an illegal one in a live environment. That's taking risks I don't care to take. =/

    But for personal use, it's fun.

    Like JK, I'd love to have a copy of it just to set up and test out on my own server. I don't necessarily want one to make public, but it'd be cool to verse myself in it, since most major forums use the software and I could appear smarter. XD

    I think it's still illegal, though. o_O; It's even bad to set up a test forum if you own the license, since you're only allowed to set up one instance of the board. XP (If you do and you own the license, you can't give anyone but yourself access to it - that's what I've heard, anyway.)
     
    I guess it would be okay to give out to someone that you know won't report it, but most of the time it's better to not chance it.

    (And Erica, you can get it off surpnova, I saw a download for it in the Linux Apps area)
