Freewebs!?!?!?

    ok if u all dont mind... whats so great about freewebs. I mean no offense but does freewebs even count as a site? i mean people are posting askin to be the ppn sotw and they got a freewebs site with a index and noting... can some1 explain this for me???
     
    There's nothing "great" about Freewebs, but it is easy to use for beginning webmasters so lots of people use it.
     
    It's a great beginning tool that you can get a template for free, and it's easy editting.

    Just like Geocities, people use it because it's free and easy.

    The Free Layouts stink. I make my own and I obviously use the html format on Freewebs.Im currently using it to make my next new site..XD

    If you're making a HTML only one... search for a free site that allows more than 7 files... >>
     
    Nothing really great about freewebs (Like what JA said) except that the only ad you have to put was a text saying Freewebs hosted the site for you...
    I don't like using it, since it only allow one file upload at a time. Too slow...

    Yes I agree, I like it where you can upload 5 files at a time. much faster

    The most I can upload at a time at Yahoo's Geocities was about 15-20. I prefer Geocities over Freewebs for that matter.
     
    I prefer Elixant because you can upload unlimited files at once.

    mmm.... Freewebs is ok for beginners, but there is alot of other sites that offer just as much, if not more.. and are better ^^... But i guess alot of poeple use it.
     
    Ok freewebs is good because:
    1. Its free
    2. Its easy

    Bad things
    1.You can only 50 pics altogether
    2.Only 7 webpages
    3. Horrible skins (really dark)
     
    There are lots of alternatives to Freewebs that offer an online editor. As I've always said, I like to search on www.clickherefree.com where you can search for free hosts with online editors.
