6th Gen Friendship evolution's take too long?

    I AM NOT ASKING HOW TO I AM SAYING I HAVE FOUND THIS A VERY FAST WAY OF GETTING FRIENDSHIP EVOS


    Ok so last night I tried doing triple battle in Le Wow (3 star restaurant in Luminose City) as i have seen that leveling up helps raise friendship with a pokémon.

    Putting a soothe bell on the poke i wanted to evo (togepi) it levelled up a few times and evolved between fights.

    At first i thought it was because i had fought with it a few times before so i tried putting the soothe bell on my Woobat and went into "Le Wow" again and sure enough that evolved too after a few battles.

    (I use EXP power Lvl 3 o-power before talking to the girl behind the counter)

    You evolved your Chatot? What kind of black magic is this!? The last I checked Chatot never had an evolution.

    Battling with the Soothe Bell is one way to get the friendship level up, but catching a Pokémon in a Luxury Ball, walking around with them at the front of your party, massages, vitamins those are all helpful to increasing the friendship level too.

    It's only a shame that Amie doesn't play any factor into friendship too.

    I'm not asking how to gain friendship i'm saying this way to evo through friendship has been working 100% for me so far and it is very fast

    also i meant woobat into swoobat not chatot (i'm an idiot)

    This. The Soothe Bell is a great tool, particularly if you walk around with the Pokemon. I was hatching eggs and I kept a Chansey in my party while it was wearing one. It evolved into a Blissey the next level. Also try getting massages, but I don't remember where it is XY. My guess is Lumiose City, though.
     
    I didn't have a problem at all, I think my zubat evolved into Golbat, then next level was a Crobat.

    Pokemon Amie effects Friendship. Affection and Friendship are different calculations, but Amie interactions do increase your Pokemon's Friendship. If it weren't for Pokemon Amie my Azurill wouldn't have evolved into Marill soon after catching it. I had to get her to max heart and then do it a few more times, then use Soothe bags for extra security, but I had only used 2 soothe bags which wouldn't be enough to get Happiness to Max.
     
    The fastest way possible, without leveling, is with berries. About 10-20 berries, forget the exact number, then done. It also tells you when they are maxed, it says "this will have no effect" when you try to use such a berry and there is no EVs in the stat effected.
     
    At first, I tried the Poke-Amie thing and got the affection up to 5 hearts, battled and no evo after leveling up.

    Decided to try using a bit of the Egg hatching trick, but with the soothe bell. Gave my pokemon the Soothe Bell and got to the Prism Tower. Trapped my circle pad in a direction to get around the tower without running into anyone. So far, my Swadloon has gone from "It's a little bit Friendly..." to "You must really like your Swadloon..." after a few minutes.
    Just a little more...

    KITTEN!!!! i thought you were really sick or something haven't seen you in IRC for over a week

    It does have an Effect, I used Pokemon Amie on my Event Blaziken (Bless Arceus) then after a while i noticed the entry text for Blaziken had changed from:

    Go, Blaziken!

    to

    Go Blaziken!
    I know you can do it!

    Also the Animation of Blaziken had him look back at me every 10 seconds or So, Maybe a slight boost of Critical hits but hey, even if there isn't i love the little nod they put in the Game, Inching us closer to Artificial Friendship ♥

    IRC gets boring to me quick. I may go back on there someday, but not any time soon. ;)

    Aimee is my favorite way to boost friendship, though it is slow compared to the berries. I love playing with my pokemon though, feeding them is so cool.
