Hi guys. I'm trying to edit the sprite that appears for Gary in the intro of the game, when Oak asks for his name. I tried using Nameless Sprite Editor, but Gary's sprite appears all black and white and then it won't do anything when I try to import my image.
    I navigated to: POKEMON > BPRE > Sprites > Intro > Gary
I tried using a 256 color indexed image (it only uses 16 colors though) but it won't work, when I click "Save" after loading the sprite, nothing happens :(
    Please help!

Edit: I managed to replace Gary's intro image to my own, but the palette is all messed up! I followed the first part of this tutorial, since I don't really understand the second part...

Edit 2: Now I could successfully put my own sprite on Gary's original sprite place with the right palette, BUT............... After the player chooses the Rival's name, the palette gets weird again...
