Brock's most likely gonna go this series.
    Dawn yah 100% sadly.
    Every one else to follow.
    No Misty/No Brock.
Feel a bit sad how Ash will have to deal with Team Rocket 24/7 of his life :P
What are your opinions on this?

Has Brock been confirmed to leave after Diamond and Pearl? If not then it would be better not to make any assumptions that he won't return since people thought the same thing at the beginning of Diamond and Pearl and he ended up returning.

I'm going to be sad if Brock leaves. I love Brock... but before people were saying Ash wasn't coming back, right? Which wasn't true. So maybe Brock will come back anyway.

Yah, there weren't any sighns pointing to Ash leaving so I don't know where they got in there heads. I guess it was hope that he'd win the league or some thing. However, there are many more signs this series than before of Brocko leaving. Like a new dream, why would the creators of Pokemon suddenly decide to give Brock a big part after so many years? It just doesn't make sense at all. Than there's the new ending, with Brock looking the other way from Ash, which I think was forshadowing. And that sketch, which could be for the first three episodes had only Ash and Team Rocket and Iris on it.

It would be a very sad day if Brock left. I think they should focus more on his actual goals more to be perfectly honest.

I'm guessing if he does go the new girl will take on his leader type duties. I mean they will never turn Ash into a "grownup" now will they.

Ash is mentally incapable of maturing at all. I'm pretty sure they're going to cut Paul as well, which is a shame. His battling style was always good, and he showed signs of maturing later on in the series.

The DP Arc basically goes to show how little the writers care for Brock these days. He kept the same three Pokémon for almost four years now and on top of that did little to nothing at all this season. In AG he at least had some evolutions going for him and competed in a few things. The writers didn't even consider him competing in the Ping Pong Competition this arc. It upsets me that when the writers do have a chance to do something with Brock, they waste it. Based on that, I think they realize it's time for Brock to take his departure in the show and bring in a new character who they know will be able to do more.

I guess this also backs up the supposed released leaks that while Iris will be able to communicate with Pokémon giving her, her own story in the show. Ash competing in Gyms and heading for the League, and the new male taking the role as a coordinator giving him contests and the GF too look forward to. This at least gives each member in the group more of a story and instead of making more fillers, gives the show more depth in their story.

I'll miss Brock if he leaves, but as it stands he just isn't worth sticking around anymore. I think with the 5th Gen all of Pokémon from the games to the anime just wants to revamp everything and fix the mistakes they made time and time again.

Even though Paul is leaving the show, it's said that there will be a new rival portraying the same attitude as Paul. So, we'll see how that goes...

I don't know people can't seem to accept that these things might not have any deep meaning in them. It's not like this series has some deep plot or that every little thing the writers do has a deeper meaning to it.

Also, just because Brock isn't in the first three episodes doesn't mean he isn't going to be in it. He returned in AG004 during Advanced Generation.

It could have a meaning behind this stuff, could not.
And your rigt, he could return in episode four I'm not the owner of Pokemon. I'm just going by the stuff we have so far, none of this happened in the past, just find it all very odd.

At this time, I think maybe its a little hard to tell whether or not Brock will be returning if he does end up leaving. I must admit he didn't really do much throughout Diamond and Pearl saga, maybe the writers have finally decided to bid him a farewell, if that happens the question on whether or not we'll ever see him again is still unclear.

Iris looks like shes going to play a pretty huge part in the new Anime, since its been said that Ash will be traveling with her, a new male character could end up replacing Brock as someone has already said. I guess we'll all just have to wait and see what happens!

Either way I think I'm going to enjoy the new Anime when it starts!

hmmm ash alone? oh wait theres that girl.
well i watched the baltoy [wrong name :P] in hoenn which was just ash [and the lil girl..] but i gotta say i like watching ash like that with out brock and gang

I'd like an adventure with just Ash alone too :classic:
He's my favorite. Seeing him alone would be intresting for a bit.

I guess Brock was tired of Ash being a complete dumbass when it came to simple things like cooking and taking care of pokemon.

But anyway, I hope that the replacement can be different than brock, like tracey was..

TBH, Brock has become too much of a comedy character to stay around as an important part of the story. Team Rocket I can understand, since after the first season they've been absolute jokes, but the writers actually seemed to want to make Brock important. He could really have made a great thing for Ash against Paul. Since he wanted to be a breeder, why not explain to Ash about why Paul chooses what Pokemon does, with anime version of IVs and EVs? Use his supposed dream before the new one to make him useful.

I'm not saying I don't like Brock, I actually want to keep him around (Day Care Man of Isshu writers, make it happen!). But what I'm saying is that I don't want him around the main party unless he actually has a reason for being there. I said the same thing about Misty, except for her being the Gym Leader and partial rival. The next two girls had a purpose as Coordinators, but Misty? Nothing really. But that's for another topic :/

Well we all know ash and pika are the main characters of the show so they are not going any where. Its said but after each gen so far they took a girl out and i liked dawn the best and she was kinda cute, but it seems she will be going. As for team rocket i don't think they will be leaving ethier.Brock well he has been around since the begining and left and then returned and now left i think he might leave or return not sure anymore plus i don't see what good he is anymore to the show.I can only hope that they add a new girl even as cute as dawn and then maybe like ash finds he has a family member or something like a cuz and he comes on the journey with ash.
