    Am I right to remember that we didn't saw Fuchsia City in the anime?
    we only saw the gym in the woods, won the badge and then went on his journey
     
    I don't know, they went to safari zone didn't they, so they had to be in fushia city.
     
    This belongs in Pokemon TV Show and Movies so I'll move it there for you.
     
    Yes , it was pretty lame that he only had the Badge then went to the Safari .

    The town wouldn't be too large , but meh ... they could do an episode based on it !
     
    All I can remember is the Gym in the woods. I don't even remember the Safari Zone. That's alright though I never cared for Fuchsia City anyways.

    - Also Janine has never been in the Anime either!
     
    This is probably because the first season had very little filler compared to the future seasons, and most of the filler came after Fuchsia, before Cinnabar, so they didn't have much time to explore it.

    I don't remember there being much on any of the Kanto cities except maybe Celadon. :|
     
    To tell you the truth, when I first saw the episode, I thought the whole gym was the city. Strange.
