I think Kaguya was sealed away a long time ago....and then reawoken by Kanna and Kagura. Before she was sealed was probably when the guy found her in the bamboo =3 That's my theory o.o;

Actually,this is how it goes.Kaguya was found by an old man in a bamboo tree.All of her suitors were dumped,she missed her home at the moon,so she went to the moon.

About how she got in that mirror,I dunno o_o; I don't even think the Celestial robe is mentioned in the real legend o.o I'll research on that later,since we'll be learning this legend in 7th grade.

If we listened carefully,that old guy with Miroku and Hachi did explain that some guy took her robe and it infuriated her,so he locke her in a mirror,if I recall correctly ^_^
