Full PC boxes.

Well, what is your opinion about the PC storage system being able to run out of space? Do you think it's usefull? Or do you think it's an annoying feature? Discuss!

Side note: If you ran out of PC space, and you don't want to release something, you might want to visit [removed] to upload pokémon to the internet (@ the mods: feel free to delete this link if you don't find this legal/legit)

I've never gotten close to running out of space. I mean, in B/W (the only one I've ever cared about Pokemon catching in), there's over 700 spots for Pokemon. I never keep more than one of each Pokemon unless there's a strange circumstance or I'm breeding, and once I'm done I release all but the one I'm keeping. I didn't even realize that people ran out of box space. xD;

If there was very limited box space it might be a problem, but I've never been close to filling half the total capacity of my PC Boxes. It could get frustrating if you're heavily into breeding and don't release anything, but for me it's never been an issue.

I'd guess the limit to the number of Pokemon you can keep in boxes is probably related to memory in the cartridge. But having all those Pokemon would get confusing after awhile unless you put a lot of effort into sorting them.

I have never had much of a problem with box space after had a lot of peoples put in pkm. file so I can store it in my documents instead of my PC boxes.

I thought that if you have all of your PC boxes full and you catch a new one, It will glitch up the game...

I don't have a problem with box space.
In fact, the most boxes I've ever filled was 8 in Diamond.

I never fill up my spaces in any of my games anyway. I only catch Pokemon I think are going to be useful to me (well, most of the time).

I don't really see an issue there, for even if you've caught every single pokemon you still have around a box or so left (evidence based off Generation 4).

I once had all my boxes full, and it sucked. :< Nowadays, I just release all the Pokemons that I don't use anymore. The only times when I have two or more Pokemons of the same kind are when the male and female look different.

Out of the 18 boxes, I keep one box for all the Unowns and another for breeding.

Never had all my boxes full, cause I don't go around catching everything, lol. I have about 4 boxes on my storage Emerald filled up though.

lol, I have all 24 boxes unlocked, so I have nothing to worry about.

But I might smack someone if my typing boxes run over with Pokemon.

At first I was nervous, but I realized that there's over 700 spots; I dont think I've ever had more than 150 Pokemon in any game before. Even though I plan on starting to actually battle competitively and breed my Pokemon for specific stats/movesets, I think I'll have more than enough space. Just have to remember to release some Pokemon every now and then ^.^

I don't actually use all of my PC Boxes, but it seems that I gradually capture more pokemon as each game progresses, so running out of space might get quite annoying. I just feel that they put it there for the sake of it really.

Space wasn't a problem for me until Pearl. With the advent of GTS and trading, I came very close to filling my PC completely. I'm looking at the same problem with Black; I have a grand total of four boxes that are stuffed to the gills with Goletts. They're all my "rescues" and they aren't going anywhere. I am now currently working on a fifth. In my case, lack of space may be problematic later on.

As of Pokemon Black and White, I capture all of the Pokemon (including all forms excluding the Unowns and by all forms I mean the Burmy's, Wormadams etc.) and as for the last box, it's usually my trading box. I never came so close to filling up all of my boxes
