I can't find where it shows my messages and notifications but other than that I really like it.

Desktop- Look to the left. It should be on the side.
Phone- You're having the same problem I had. There is a menu button near the top left and it pops up above the forum when clicked.

There's still forum splashes on mobile devices. :(

I'd kind of forgotten about those; they should now be gone. =)

You mean where you get multiple notifications from the same person for the same post? That happens whenever someone quotes you and then edits the post. It's not a problem specific to Fundamental, but the notification system in general.

I just hope that someone's been working on that....
