Funny Stories.

I had something funny happen to me yesterday, and I figured if I had a funny Pokemon story someone else might too, and if that's the case, post it! Anyways:

Yesterday my girlfriend and I went to the mall so I could buy Pokemon Black. Now, my girlfriend doesn't really like Pokemon, she says that it was only cool during the 90's, but that changed yesterday. She asked to play Black because she was bored, and of course I didn't say no, I figured I'd just play later, but she never really put the game down, lol. We went out to the movies after the mall, she played on the drive there, we left after it was over, she played on the way home, and until about 12:00am. Because of Pokemon Black she went from "Pokemon is lame" to "Look, look! I caught another one!" I'm just gonna let her keep Black and head to the mall later this week to get White xD

Thats pretty funny. In my school, even if you mention pokemon, youll get accused of liking it and harassed. I keep it on the DL :P

Ive always loved the games. I liked the anime when I was younger. I grew out of that :O

When my brother and I trade Pokemon we keep a box in our own PC for Pokemon we need to trade to each other, sometimes this can get hectic so my brother named a Chimchar "Brother" and traded it to me. I began leveling it up and when it evolved into Monferno it said "Congratulations, your Brother has evolved in Monferno". I laughed so hard.

That's how my school was, but the harassing stopped when people found out I had a fine mixture of brawn and "nerd" xD I used to like the Anime too, but I stopped watching it for some reason? I guess I grew out of the Anime, but not the games, haha.

As far as Pokemon and High School:

Last year, the Monday after the release of HeartGold/SoulSilver, I took the Pokewalker to school. I took it out during class to check the time, and 3 people immediately asked me what version I got. I discussed metagame concepts with 3 guys while the rest of the class reminisced about the R/B days.

So yeah, Pokemon was awesome at my High School. I got challenged to pokemon battles all day. It was awesome...

During the last few days of my senior year one of my friends brought his Pokemon Blue and I had my Pokemon Platinum. We talked about the old Pokemon games for hours lol.

As far as Pokemon and High School:

Your. School. Sounds. Amazing. I remember one time my Algebra II class got into a big discussion about the good 'ol days of Red & Blue. For a straight 30 minutes, the class, even the teacher talked about Pokemon & the 90's.
