Congratulations to both of you, BebbZ and batmon.
About the thing with the egg, I don't see any problems, in fact I don't see any reason to be too strict with the rules, the only purpose of this thread is fun and killing time anyways.
@ ThwackX: Maybe you should skip Chuck and come back later after you beat Jasmine, Team Rocket and Pryce, none of them should cause problems to your Pokemon, and after beating them, Chuck should be piece of cake.

ahh I´m finally awake now so my second update:
-caught an poliwhirl hm slave (i did this befor I read you comment mondays)
-killed red gyrados
-defeated team rocket
-got medicine for ampho
-defeat Chuck ( exeggutor + plant move that´s all)
-deafeted Jasmin (Hoppy´s ultimate Combo: sleep powder+ Leech seed)
-got ice badge (first time i really make it has 7th)
-flew back to goldenrod, defeated team rocket
-deafeted the dragon´s( hoppy is sooooo fast)
standing in front of the top 4 now, wish me luck

Lol. At the point of being up to Chuck i was Lv30. I just lvled up against Tentacool + Tentacruel then each pokemon was lv35, Then i defeated Chuck.
Yeah... your idea was better xD.

Anyway.. Update time.
ThwackX's G/S/C Monotype run: ROCK: UPDATE 2
- Leveled each of my pokemon from about Lv30 to Lv35 in order to defeat Chuck, it still wasnt easy.
- Got Shuckle, intended to use it then decided not to.
- Got Secretpotion
- Gave it to Amphy
- Defeated Jasmine easily
- Arrived in Mahogany Town
- Battled the red Gyarados
- Lance and myself defeated TR in Mahogany Town
- Defeated Pryce
- Got TR out of the radio tower
- Went Thru Ice Path to Blackthorn
- Someone was blocking the Gym and i realised I didnt complete the TR in the radio tower event.
- Finished off TR in goldenrod
- Got HM02 ( i 4got ) and caught a Fly Slave
- Flew back to Blackthorn and ready to face Clair.

Wait, Sunflora killed Snorlax, not one of the Leech Seeders? Maybe I am underestimating the might of Sunflora, but I would have never expected it to take out a hard-hitting and extremely specially bulky Pokemon like Snorlax

Over 12 hours too late, but I exceptionnally had some real life at that time

My army of darkness is currently marching on to Indigo Plateau; I am convinced the Elite 4+Lance will be pretty easy since I'm overleveled and have a type advantage over Bruno in Murkrow's Flying type.

Thankfully Clair didnt have dragonites, just 3 dragonairs and a Kingdra. I used my Corsola for most of the battle since it wasnt weak to water, i mainly used ancient power and strength. It also helped that i was 8 levels above her :).
Update Time.

- Defeated Clair, it was a tight battle.
- Went to dragons den, got the item ( i think it was dragon fang )
- Went to the Pokemon League!
The Elite Four
Will was tough , My pokemon are very mediocre in SpDef and he spammed Psychic at me :(. I used Heaps of Revives + Potions here.
Koga was easy, Gravelers Earthquake and Rollout owned.
Since my pokemon are good in Defense, Brunos fighting type moves didnt one hit KO.
Only Machamp was a problem and forced the use of revives etc.
Karen was easy except vileplume and its petal dance. Fortunatley it confused itself and i took it out. Otherwise i had super effective moves against the rest of her pokemon.
Lance was a nightmare with Gyarados. Gyarados took out Sudowoodo and graveler with surf. Sent out corsola and threw 2 ancient powers at it, killing it. I revive graveler and when he sent his 3 Dragonites, My graveler used rollout, Fortunately a Dragonite Blizzard missed and let my graveler gain enough rollout and killed the Dragonites, i resend out Corsola and one hit KO'ed Charizard and Aerodactyl with Surf.
I got really lucky to defeat lance...

Sunflora is just imba whith 2 times Growth and Sunny Day, cause Solar Beam deals Imba damage than and Mega Drain can heal it, too.
Now I´ll start again with GHOST. I´m hatch an egg with an Misdreavous(right spelled?) because i need atleast two pokemon for an typ run. atm I´m searchinng aan Ditto, but everyone who knows me can imagine what happens: no one appears. Hey I´m searching Ditto, but what do I get: Entei&Raikou I just thought LOL!

Oh, and searching Ditto is not the worst part of all this, waiting for the egg is even funnier, it always takes eternities in GSC, at least for me...

I´ve catched an Ditto now and i had to wait about two minuts till I could get an egg^^
I´m standing infront of the 4th gym now, but i don´t think it will be very herd.

Long update on my psychic run (most of Johto).
Struggled at first with Smoochum, reminded me of my weak dratini
Beat Falkner and Sprout Tower using luck (confuse and hope they die)
As with Dratini, once it learned a move of its own type, became a lot easier
Beat Bugsy with powder snow
Decided to make it harder for myself, caught Unown
Caught Abra, trained to Kadabra
Beat 3rd gym, (got lucky when rollout missed, really beat my weak defence)
Got Eevee (for Espeon)
Smoochum evolved at lv.30 :D
Taught Kadabra Fire punch
Thrashed 4th gym, psychic vs. poison? No contest
Thrashed 5th gym - for obvious reasons
Struggled but won against Jasmine, (Fire Punch ftw)
Beat Team Rocket in Mahogany
Beat 7th gym with Unown's hidden power (Steel)
Beat team rocket in goldenrod (its great how 90% of their pokemon are part-poison)(it's less great that the rest are Dark, that Houndoom was a tough one, not looking forward to the one in the Elite Four)
Caught a slowpoke (didnt realise Super Rod was needed for Staryu, will probably swap Slowbro for Starmie once I get to Kanto)
Beat Claire with Jynx..easy.
Got through Victory road, making rival look easy.
Eevee STILL not evolved...not challenging E4 until it does (also waiting on Slowpoke to evolve).
(Kadabra wont be evolving to make it more challenging for me, cos Alakazam is pretty much unbeatable with the right moveset.

And did you take it to the salon people yet, or accidently fed it anything bitter?
