How long you can play a game for non-stop?

I remembered I went into Left 4 dead 2 Campaigns for advanced mode with my friends and for like 4 campaigns, it took us 5 to 6 hours to complete and couple of restarts and by the time we stopped, we were totally exhausted.

I don't remember how long I could play in my youth... But these days it's probably 5 hours tops. It's easy for me to get absorbed in games such as osu! and Xenoblade Chronicles into the wee hours of the night.

Depends on how engaging or demanding it is. If it's an RPG that I'm loving then I probably won't pry myself off of it until I have to go somewhere. If it's something that's demanding and rough on my hands (almost any rhythm game) then I'll probably only be able to put up with it for about an hour tops before my wrist begs to call it quits.

FFXIV has shown me that I'm limited only by basic human needs - like food, water, and sleep - when it comes to how long I can play a game for without stopping. But typically I won't, so the maximum amount of time I'll spend playing a game is never usually longer than a couple of hours at most. I like doing other things throughout the day, so my play sessions are typically shorter.

    Recently:
    - I played Brutal Doom: Project Brutality for a total of 18 Hours, trying the mod out in different maps and settled with The Hell on Earth Starter Pack.

    - For League of Legends, if it calls for it, I can recall my old self of playing 8-12 hours a day of playing non stop solo queue.

    - Borderlands. As of today, the longest time i spent on Borderlands was at around 18 Hours, that's with breaks in between such as TV Breaks, dinner, bathroom, and other stuff.

    Historically:

    - The longest Marathon I've ever did on any Video Game was for Legend of Dragoon. I spent around 17-18 hours a day doing LoD stuff.

The longest I can usually concentrate on anything is about 1 hour. But there are some games that are so immersive that I can go for hours and hours and then the only reason I'll stop is because I need to sleep. That Said I was up all day and night playing Xenoblade Chronicles once. c:

    Depends on the game, really.

An hour or two is pretty much my limit. The exception is if I get really involved in playing a game with friends, or if I'm close to beating a game and just marathon it to the end. Otherwise, my attention span is pretty short.
