Alright... I am fairly sure that this can get very annoying especially when you want a scene to be in sync with the background music. So I just want to know, is there anyway, for almost every RPGXP project, can we make it so that way we can make the game keep updating even if it is out of focus? I find the fact that the game doesn't update but the BGM just keeps updating like normal, it is just very annoying to make scenes that should be in sync with the music.

If you are controlling an event with another event then sometimes you might need to refresh the map with
    Code:
    $game_map.need_refresh = true

Other than that I am not sure what you are asking.

There's a nice plugin that works with Essentials. I used this for the EPI back in the day.

Well... the only annoying thing about it is that the keyboard input won't really work unless if you actually click on the window. Other than that, it works pretty well!

Edit: Nvm, found another download in the comments that fixes that problem.

Might be just me, but why do you want your input to be registered when the game window is inactive? Sounds like an inconvenience. Imagine playing the game, then tabbing out to look up something online, and you get back having, idk, fainted all your mons during a nuzlocke or something?

No that isn't what I am saying. The situation that is going on with the main version is that everytime you tab oit of the game and tab back in, the keyboard controls dont work until you click on the window which can be very annoying and many people can just say that the controls are bugged. Also, who on earth would want their game to be controllable when the window is not selected, it is just dumb.

I tried myself, tabbing in and out, and all worked just fine for me.
