Yeah, it does get boring with all the breeding to get the right IV's and Natures... I went through over 100 Skarmorys before I finally got an impish one, shame I couldn't of just gotten the one I had off of pokémon box. Now, for the fun and excitement of getting one with decent IV's >,>

It gets boring but I still train my Pokemon once in a while. It would be cool if the battles could be 3-D without PBR.

Yeah they are for me. The original games were amazing but once you got to the end there was nothing. Now there's competitive battling, but that's still not much more fun. You spend days getting right natured and IVd egg, battle the socialite and gentlemen countless times for money, spend it on vitamins, then go EV train and teach them specific moves. All just to battle over and over and... over. I find it rather boring.

i would have to say that its your choice to make it fun or not. its all mental

Yeah, theres always something you can do

You should go back and play the original red+blue games their totally awsome dude:)

I play the handheld to just pass time most of the time, and I don't find it boring. I have about 3-5 different teams in each game, and I'm constantly switching them around, so I usually have things to do.

I'll still get my ass kicked ._.

Quit whining and start playing competitively. Real men play competitive Pokemon. :P

Why don't you just use the Ditto everstone trick for natures :/ Btw, HP and Defense/Sp. def IVs are less likely to be passed on to the child.

Actually, I asked about this on Smogon a while ago. Apparently, SDef IVs are just as likely to be passed as any other. It's just Defense and HP that have lower rates of being passed.

Sorry folks gotta close this topic, was a revival of older then 30 days. X_X

I don't think they're boring. They're full of fun and lafter. (or head aches, depending on your mood.)
