This one girl who I know has Colosseum and says it's legs are green. "Pwed!" she cried to any who questioned her opinion.

I want to get Colosseum(I wanna watch the faints/attack/hit reactions and that RPG), but the fate of having no Gamecube and no time to play it if I do have it.

Wah.

Man, it's late...
I wouldn't know whether to consider this humourous or not, and it does still involve one of the three Ralts, etc. members, but here's something I dug up.
It's just a gif of Kirlia slapping Kucheat around. It's kinda old, made around the same time my avatar was made. It took less than a day, which would explain why it's odd looking, but then again the style is supposed to be simplified.

In completely other news, it's my birthday tomorrow, so I'll be 21 (which for me, means absolutely nothing XP) by about 2:00 in the morning where I live. Meh, it's not very important news, but why not announce it anyway? ^∀^

Wahaha! Kucheet being owned! lol (saves)
btw Happy Birthday Kine-san!!!11oneone

>>Gardevoir's legs being white/green
Green in TV (but not in one of the movies, where Gardevoir appears for a split second only)
White in game (probablly in official picture too, but you can't see it)

[edit] adds oekaki

(Pic 1)Here's a fork to eat your words!

(Pic 2)Then for a split second, it's green. The animation isn't good for those split seconds, haha. If anyone could be my hero, it would be Downs Garde....

I'll try and get a picture of it. As soon as I get my Digital Camera out x_X.

EDIT: It isn't the best evidence, since I caught Gardevoir when it was Thunderbolting, but yeah.

Pretty picture Kadabra, it looks like blue plasma...

Kohei> They should have shown legs in the offical art...all the confusion would have been averted right there...hah.

Pic1- from the japanese Pokemon Collosium website.

Pic2- (Not mine btw) in game. Watch out, big file: 352kb

Actually, maytbe the color of the leg is telling its gender. maybe when its white, its female and green, a male.
who knows

If that were true (Kirlia being 100% male), man have I been going in the wrong direction all this time.

At least it's just leg color that no one can decide on now. I remember the time where people didn't think Gardevoir even had legs (you can't see them in the R/S/E the sprite(s) or promo art). Of course, they completely overlooked the footprint detail, but I can still see where they came from. I guess Game Freak really should've made that clear.

Another thing I can't understand is why Kirlia's legs are green if it's head is white. So is the frilly skirt part of the body (knowing the Pokemon world, most likely), or something much less explainable?

Time for my overanalyzing! :P

In the real world, there are animals who look the same in the early stages in life, male or female. And when they mature, you can easily tell the difference from Male and Female. Now with Kirlia's green legs, since it's not at the 'mature stage', it's hard to tell if its male or female; unless you look at it's....erm...parts.

When its reaches Garde stage, the appropiate leg color shows. But then again, I seen/drawn female Gardevoirs with green legs and males with white. So, I wouldn't let leg color be a foolproof way to tell gender.

In the other subject, I always thought Kirlia and Gardevoir had 2 layers of skin or somthing like it. Like Gardevoir's bottom skin layer would be white, and that 'top' it has on is the 2nd layer. That skirt it wears is actually flaps of skin used to 'protect' it's delicate legs from cold, ect. For Kirlia, the green skin of the legs would merdge with it's white skin under where it's skirt starts (again, flaps of skin...). But this can also be applied to Garde.

Ok, class dissmissed!

Ugh...what a disturbing thought. Two layers of skin, especially sticking out like that? I figure it's most likely true, but it's not something I wanna think about. It may be different with Gardevoir, in that Machoke seems to gain a belt from nowhere (so I'm saying that the gown could be some sort of attire), but I have idea what people are thinking back at Game Freak HQ.

I think I ought to attempt to draw them as males one day. I did it before out of curiosity, but that was an old pic. I could probably do it better now, though I'd regret it in the morning...

That being the case, I'm going to omit Ralts. It looks like it could pass off either way, and I never draw it distinctively as it is (unless otherwise stated).

Oh hey! I just noticed that the male symbol was an Unown. That's a good use for it.
