Gary's sister. Where is she?!

So , if Gary is based on the pokemon R/B/G/Y enemy , so how come Gary didn't have a big sister in the anime , just like his couterpart in the game?

Gary's sister was a character in one of the Pokemon mangas and appeared only in that manga (I think she was in the games too?). He probably doesn't have a sister in the anime and is like Ash's father or something. Feel free to correct me.

Gray's sister isn't important enothe to be in the show. Daisy doesn't provide anything to the anime.

Like Ash's mother. She provides support, both mothery and fan, and some funny stuff (Every once and so) Daisy just can't do that. If she did the same thing that Ash' mom does then she may ruin the image creator want for Gary.

Daisy just does nothing to provide for the anime.

They're NOT based on the characters. Their DESIGNS were based on Red and Green. Nothing more. I thought it was obvious enough where the games have the characters named as Red and Green while the anime has characters named Satoshi/Ash and Shigeru/Gary.

The anime never said what happened to Shigeru's parents, what you're thinking of is what one of the many non-official manga's said. It's just like how Ono's manga made everyone believe Kasumi was twelve. In that manga she is, but until official word is given, we don't know.

I dont know about that. It wasn't a manga. I dont remember exactly. It was a long long time ago. I read it on some smart, interesting site that had all official stuff on it from the anime but I forgot what site it was T_T

...You've got ALOT of things mixed up.

For one, you're thinking of Green.
Two, Shigeru's ONLY known relative that's ever been shown is Ookido-Hakase.
Three, you're thinking of Gold/Silver/Crystal. NOT Red/Green/Blue/Yellow.

You're confusing me, but I think you're saying that the show isn't following the games to the letter.

I'll just quote a Cliche here, and this one is for shows based off of video games:

"Don't expect Game Mechanics to work in the 'Real World'."

Examples in Pokemon:

-Team Rocket is way too frequent. In Yellow, they only show up 2 or 3 times in the ENTIRE GAME!!

-Pikachu can hurt Rock Pokemon with Electric Attacks in the show. In the game Electric attacks do nothing to Rock Pokemon. (Thunder should actually shatter stone, but that's beside the point.)

-Two GYM TRAINERS are main party members in the show. In the game, they're just enemies. (Enemy: A game character that you have to defeat to advance in the game.)

-Lance has fought side by side with Ash. In the game, he never leaves the third room in Indego Plateau.

-They spend over an hour on each Legendary Pokemon. In the game, you spend less than 5 minutes on each one.

*bashes his head against his desk* How many times must I clear this up? Rock-types are NOT immune to Electricity. Use an Electric attack on Usokki. It WORKS. Rock-types in RGBY all had GROUND-types as a secondary type. In the anime, they don't display any ground characteristics but aren't completely vulnerable to the attacks.

And when it does, Nintendo, GameFreak and the animation company, OML make sure to let EVERYONE know in some way. 2nd movie, we learn that the collection was started with an Ancient Myuu card due to the aid of a pamphlet given away in the Japanese version (it was explained in the dub due to no pamphlet). 4th movie had scenes added to explain Yukinari being Ookido-Hakase.

So your logic falls short there considering absolutely NOTHING has been said about Shigeru's parents and nothing ever will since he's completely written out of the show now.
