    Didn't feel the hype for this from this as most people did. Either way still gonna watch the second season and hope I'll enjoy it.

    Being honest, I liked the pace, but nothing in particular really happened during Season 1. It was more like a big prologue to something else that might come after. What worries me is that it doesn't seem like 2 seasons have enough screentime to go "beyond" what I expect in content.
     
    The first episode of Gate is just what you'd expect. Nothing really shocking. Well, except for a lack of Rory.
