Gates to infinity IMO

I heard a lot of "It's good" from players new to the PMD series, though I found there was a lot of issues with it IMO.

1: Small Post game. While PMD still had a lot to do afterwards, and PMD 2/3 had an entire plot line explaining

and other things, all that was in Gates to infinity was a simple quest, and a couple legendaries to beat.

2: Repeated Storyline. The games were about the same, in a sense. Both had a main antagonist who

3: To little pokemon. Almost no pokemon are in the game, with mostly just gen 5, and the famous ones, like legendaries, and Pikachu.

Though the game did have many good things, like great music, and a good final boss, and non-main parts of the game. What is your opinion, and how do you agree, and disagree?

I haven't played Gates to Infinity so I can't reply, sadly. But I can move this thread over to Spinoff Games where it'll fit better!

Easily the weakest game in the Mystery Dungeon franchise. Whereas Rescue Team had all Pokemon from Gen 1-3 and the Explorers had all Gen 1-4, Infinity barely had 200 Pokemon and didn't even include every Unova Pokemon, with noticeable absences from Sawk, Throh and others.

Gameplay wise, it seemed to be a major step down. Removal of the Hunger System just made things way too easy. The missions were never difficult, even for a regular team that hadn't grinded for EXP.

I think they need to stop making Mystery Dungeon games if this is the quality they'll be going by.

I've just started Gates to Infinity not too long ago and I'll have to say that I think the story just starts off slowly. I mean you start the first several missions trying to build a house and that took me 20 minutes. I haven't completed the other Mystery Dungeon games so I can't fully judge, but so far there hasn't been much interesting in Gates of Infinity. The lack of Pokemon doesn't bother me much, except the fact I wish there was more parter/player selection. So far though this game has only been decent compared to how good the others were.

Generally, I find that Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky starts immediately, though at times requires you to do random non-involved-in-story missions to train you between real stages. I found it enjoyable, as a lot of the missions are fun. And they took out too many features. The Cafe, Diglett watch, THE ENTIRE HUNGER SYSTEM, and more. You should play Sky. It really is good, though it could seem weirder since you played GTI first.
